If I lived in Alabama, Mobile is where I’d want to live because its history and Creole culture are the most similar to that of my home in South Louisiana When that area was a part of the Louisiana territory, my ancestors settled in the Mobile area before eventually migrating to just south of New Orleans Are there any good historical sites you recommend? One of my ancestors was a Frenchman stationed at Fort Tombeckbé (spelling?) and Fort Toulouse And while I’ve grown up with Mardi Gras, it’d be cool to visit Mobile during Carnival season to experience it in the city where Mardi Gras was first held in the Western Hemisphere

Righteously this place is getting better by the years for ppl that live here don't notice that's why it's always 50/50 when asked about mobile but it's one of the biggest metro with it's in culture and I think that's why u get a negative comment here and there

Being a Mobilian is like being born with a birth mark You can't wash it off! Once a Mobilian- ALWAYS a Mobilian I love it here Over the years my career has taken me to different places for extended periods, but I always held this great city close to my heart Thank God I'm back home for good To me the best feeling is coming out of the Bankhead tunnel onto Government street I get the feeling of "Whew, I can relax now" If you were blindfolded and air-dropped into almost any other city in America and took the blindfold off, you would probably have no idea where you are Not so with Mobile I love my fair town, warts and all br Thirty years ago I had to leave for 3-5 years, I remember seeing the skyline disappear in my rear view mirror and crying like a little girl It even feels good to come back after a vacation I wish everyone could feel this way about their city I guess I'm one of the fortunate people who is exactly where he belongs

No offence, the video is of excellent quality We have segregated Mardi Gras balls, the Comic Cowboys parade bigotry down our streets every year, a high crime rate, and failing schools What does it for me and others is the attitude of the people They act like millionaires but most do not have a dime in their bank accounts Mobile has major issues Most of which the public refuses to correct There is a major vindictive bully culture in this place Go to Baldwin County to live I hate to leave a negitive response, some things need to be said
