I'm old enough to remember the British invasion of the 1960s The restlessness of our time with the way everything was holding back progress The melding of the music of our youth told the story of the change that was happening Motown coming out of Detroit Rock making their statement Blues mixing with all of it If you weren't there, you missed something special Black or White, we were listening to all of it together That was the beginning of the end of the separation and gave birth to We are the world ❤❤

I remember once in an interview, Paul McCartney said once in a while, he wakes up in the morning And says Oh My God, I was one of the BeatlesbrbrYears ago I was traveling to California with my family My mother decided it would be a good idea to stop in Murdo, South Dakota, we found a car museum that had just gotten John Lennon’s in a Bentley with a cool paint job on it I was actually off to the side in a warehouse area waiting to get set upbrbrI walked up to it, and the doors are unlocked so I jumped into the backseat My mother took a picture of me, and while I was sitting there, I stuck my hand between the seats and found some pennies I’m not sure whatever happened to them

To live through the Beatles era was just wonderful I saved up to purchase each album when they were released My bedroom wall was covered by pictures I’d cut from magazine and newspapers This was all before we had a television set and the radio was the way to keep up with their career
