U can see the signboard have that alphabet and numbering before the name of place and road Example E18 cheras And at the waze and google maps also there is that alphabet and numbering too So when the waze says in 500m turn left just look at the E18 and u will see the signboard on the street with the same E18 That is how i navigate my way through malaysia Comment from : sogekingable |

It's usually the Japanese made or Japanese designed cars use the blinkers on the right side of the wheel Otherwise, continental or American cars use the blinkers on the left I drive a continental car brand and will have this problem too when I switched to driving my sister's car which is a Japanese made car Comment from : ridzz |

Hi there The 'eye brow' or top shade tint on the top of windscreen is to reduce the sun glare due to the nature of weather in malaysia It makes driving more comfortable and less stress to the eyes Not everyone would wear sunglasses, especially those wearing spectacles And the tint is allowed by Road Transport Department You will appreciate it when its not therebrbrBut anyway, you made it yeay! We must celebrate Comment from : fauzan riez |

It’s weird that Waze didn’t lead you directly to the North - South Expressway (PLUS) right out of the car rental cause it’s just nearby, did you accidentally turn on the ‘avoid freeway’ setting? Waze always favour the fastest route even if it saves you 1 minute from traffic, it can make you detour an entire neighbourhood so you need to observe it sometimes Waze is used by almost everyone here so it’s always updated with the latest roadblocks, speed cameras, hazards, etc You guys just did an entire detour around Petaling Jaya with the wrong turns 😅 I get how complicated our highway exits can be, there’s just too many to see from the map If you are considering purchasing a Touch ‘n Go card, look for the new version with NFC so you can easily reload through your phone’s TNG eWallet app by tapping the card on your phone Do be really careful and alert driving on our roads, we have one of the highest accident rates in the world due to reckless drivers and as locals we get anxiety driving at times; stopping on the side of the road and on emergency lanes is extremely dangerous so avoid that if possible Anyways, it can also be fun driving here too once you get used to it, I hope you guys have a great adventure driving around! 😊 Comment from : Marcus Loke |
