If I were alone, widowed, that place would do quite well for me We own a 2900 sqft (270 sq meter) single level home in Florida If he goes first, I will sell everything, and buy a small place like that apartment The rent is cheap by American standards What would it sell for in rubles? Comment from : Ham Channell |

I absolutely LOVE the bathroom but I agree with moving the sink and putting in a shower Or, just put the shower next to the toilet I would totally live there! It's very reasonably priced! Where I live, a 1 bedroom apartment goes for no less than $90000 USD, and most don't have all the shops and things That Amazon pick-up point is a brilliant idea! If I had to move there for work, that would be an option Now I'm going to watch the other one, lol! Comment from : TheDisneylover23 |

The layouts are strange The entrance, the hallways, entrance doors all have an "Institutionalized"look, like a Government facility Did NOT like that! The furniture was cold & outdated The bathroom was just creepy Why all the mirrored sliding doors to the closets? Comment from : sally rickerson |
Room enough in the BR for a standup urinal! For whatever reason Comment from : john Simon |

I think it’s great that you’re exploring the country and making videos However, reading the comments I see that you may be creating incorrect impressions without providing more contextbr1 This rent is about 60 of the average salary in Moscowbr2 This building is 1-15 hours by car or more away from Moscow (depending on traffic), and public transport is almost nonexistent in this areabr3 This is not typical Most people live in far worse conditions, and many of them in really awful Ie 11 don’t have running water in their apartments and 20 don’t have hot water, just as an example (official 2019 data) Comment from : Victoria |
That's a nice apartment Comment from : Kaela Creighton |
for the equivalent of 370 quid a month that is not half bad, considering some of the prices in the UK are well over 1500 quid Comment from : Plank203 |

It looked like the second enterance door was locked with a cord What happens if a fire? No shutting of the door! Don’t they use fire magnets on the doors to enable automatic closesure when the fire alarm goes off? What is the safety level in Moscow? Comment from : skirolf |
Today the Ruble collapsed and it's now about 100 to 1 USD ! --- Didn't really like the place - seems like poor efficient use of the space for my liking Not a fan of their 'style' at all either --- But if Russian's like it (?) isn't that what really counts ? Comment from : frank kluz |
This is NOT a typical apartment in Russia! Bunch of BS! Comment from : John Dyson |
Its pretty nice, would not expect that Price is okay But i was thinking russia is cheaper but i was wrong Cant compare it to my country the netherlands, because of the size It is a huge space, but not very logical in my opinion But i think something similair would cost at least 1500 euros a month Comment from : Dutch_aquascape |

Read a few comments Why are ppl, at least Americans, not remarking about the incredibly low rental price? 2022-2023 US comparison would be double the cost, and rarely includes wifi, partially furnished (of similar quality unless possibly a sublet) ), upgraded appliances and in a comparable area: commute to nearby city, nearby stores, short walk to ‘downtown’ No ATM/bank mentioned or dr offices Only major ‘unknown’ is safety, a major issue in US, esp in apt complexes Guess the question to ask is what is an average local salary Oh, and curious about the price & availability of those gorgeous ‘typical’ houses we saw from the balcony Comment from : Faffy58 |

People laughed at the old Soviet Apartment blocs but they were built to last Property speculation never really took off in Russia, basically because people have too much sense to go along with it Comment from : GuyCybershy |

Interesting video Many apartments that I visited had no running water They were built during the soviet period They had to go down to the well and carry water up to their overhead box toilets with a chain The interior smell of urine in the building was overwhelming Most windows were covered with wood because they had to wait for the govt to replace them which could take years Comment from : Lillian Ortiz |
Very nice and spacious I could definitely live in it ❤ Comment from : Olga Martinez |
Nice We do have large floor plans like this in NYC Hi-rises though, an affordable example is Co-op city Comment from : Micael Jimenez |
That would be the equivalent flat in London, which you'd be charged a fortune for Comment from : Rod Mac |
While roomy and modern with state of the art appliances etc I think there's a lot of wasted space! The bathroom is roomy, but needs a shower like you said The oversized clock in the foyer is ridiculous looking No one needs a clock inside a home that big when they have watches and digital clocks on stoves/ovens! Nice to see it comes with a dishwasher and washing machine but lacks a dryer, appliances most Americans have in their homes whether an apartment of single family home! Thanks for the tour! Comment from : Brenda Drew |
So you’re telling me this apartment a month is US$50 a month? Comment from : mac los |

I would be fine living on level 13 I'd hate to live low down when I could be high up The flat looks great Tall apartment buildings are very rare nowadays in London, except in the centre They knocked loads down in the 1990s There's a terrible housing crisis and we need more flats Every time a tall building is proposed in a residential area people complain and the too few floors get taken off the plan We need more apartments so they're going to have to build bigger! This is NOT TYPICAL Comment from : Duck Goose |
Yeah i'd live in a place like this if the price was right, I'm not sure why in America we don't adopt these larger multi-floor complexes We have a massive housing shortage and these buildings could really help solve some of the problem out Walkable convenient cities, i'm not sure why this hasn't picked up in America, everything here is created purely for the profit of the wealthy so we don't get to see nice things like this The size of this apartment in America would cost you around $1400 a month, the fact that it comes with appliances? Yeah you're paying closer to $1600 now lol Comment from : Mello Yello |
I am impressed! Comment from : Gabby Deveau |

Better being homeless than living in commiesbrbrbrbrbrAmerican, perhaps Comment from : Foyou Kumarang |
The deal breaker is no shower A huge bathroom with wasted space and no shower But actually, in Western Europe, a lot of places I've seen shove a tiny shower in a corner as an afterthought Some do have a handheld shower only I just wouldn't like it And the depressing colors of the apartment and public areas would lead me to drink too much vodka Is there a conspiracy with the vodka makers to keep everyone depressed? 😮 Comment from : Bond Mood |
Well, I can say the apartment itself isn’t bad But the first floor lobby looks like you’re entering a prison And the hall on the 13th also looks very industrial Comment from : Jbee |

Have some respect DO NOT FILM INSIDE CUPBOARDSbrFunny all American you tube videos do not film inside cupboards when it is an occupied apartments RESPECT Comment from : Carol B |
Great video 👍 found the apartment quite nice for the price Extremely spacious-especially that bathroom Would have preferred a regular tub ( who knows what organisms reside in all those jet gizmos) kitchen was dark but not bad Would be better if all flooring was same as living room area But yeah price was very good for the space with two balconies All the stores on main level - I would have no problem living on 13 th floor Really surprised at the price especially considering it’s furnished Not great furniture but not horrible either Really decent place Comment from : ‘Nita Chiquita |
I loved it! Spacious, big bathtub, nice views The entrance to the building is narrow and dingy, but once you get inside the aoartment, it's beautiful and spacious I like the affordability, too Comment from : Cathy Czuma |
Actually, the outside doesn't look so great Inside however, beats all the apartments in the Seattle area under $3,000 a monthbrbrSad, isn't it? Comment from : jeffrey greene |
Nice!!!! Comment from : Daniel Gonzalez |
WOW!! I had no idea that Russia was such a nice & modern place to live I'm sure that EVERY PLACE isn't like that and I don't know if that apt is "typical" or considered more "upscale", but for $700 here in the Mid-West USA you'd be living in or near some VERY rough areas; and you DAMN SURE aren't getting an apt THAT BIG & LUXURIOUS - NO WAY!!! I've NEVERRR lived in an apt that nice even when I was working 15-17hrs per day driving trucks!! I don't know what the average salary is in Russia to afford a place like that, but in Mid-West USA you'd have to pay around $2,000+ per month for something like that Even the community from the windows looks very nice but it doesn't look like an elite community - so weird to see thisbrbrNow ironically, if you couple this video with another video I saw earlier today saying that Putin has BANNED GMO foods and is giving land to farmers - (or something he's doing to help them) plus they apparently don't have all that rainbow bullshyt going on over there, and I assume they don't confuse their children in schools by telling them they don't have to be little boys or girls 🙄 - and DAMN put all that together and Russia got USA looking PRETTY FUQQING LAME right now --- 😳AMAZING!! You'll DEFINITELY never see anything like this on TV here Comment from : SPECTRE OF TRUTH |
Very nice I own my condo in San Francisco, CA USA, a 3br/2 bath with deck in a nice neighbourhood, and this apt is nicer I like it very much! I like the businesses downstairs too! The price is amazing! My condo would rent for $4,000 USD Great place! Comment from : Eugenia Syro |
