Man these videos are making me super homesick I moved in March last year to North Carolina and haven’t gone back since November I know it’s only been about 7 months but it feels like forever Thankfully I’m gonna be back home for the summer by Monday These places have been huge parts of my childhood, especially the zoo, sea port area, Belmont, and old town

As a local in San Diego, the 'Chicken Pie Shop' in North Park is an institution! It may not be for everyone, but I go EVERY time I am back in town I have been going there for 40 years, even back to it's original location on 5th Avenue in Hillcrest before they moved to North Park

Sadly, 'Seersucker' has permanently closed Also the North Park location for 'Carnitas Snack Shack' has closed BUT the location at The Embarcadero and Petco Park are in operation

One area of San Diego that we often visit is Ocean Beach This is a vintage beachtown that hasn't been gentrified - yet Much of the main street is as was in the 1970's when I visited San Diego before I moved here Interesting shops and good restaurants, the pier with a restaurant to relax and get a bite to eat and enjoy the wonderful view, a walk along the beach including Dog Beach and the tidepools to explore It has it all with an eclectic vibe

The Star of India is also supposedly haunted Supposedly there is the ghost of a boy on there that likes to tease people When I visited, I was reading an exhibit and felt a finger swipe the back of my calf No one was in that section with me The tower at the Museum of Man is fun to visit/climb I didn't hear about any 'haunted' reputation, but as we were leaving the room with the organ in it, the window slammed shut - by itself, no wind ;-)brbrPLEASE stay away from the seals at the Chidren's Pool Lots of ignorant jerks bother them, and it seems there's little oversight So yeah - DON'T go close to them

Great video! If you have a dog Coronado beach have dog beach and it is awesome place to relax with the whole family Pacific beach is my least favorite beach though It has a lot of restaurants but it is too busy for me, a lot of college folks and so many surfers that they are literally colliding We couldn’t relax on Pacific beach because there was too much seaweed on the beach which attracted a lot of flies and they were very annoying Mission beach is the best beach for us, it has a awesome playground for kids, walking trails near vacation homes, restaurants, street food and of course the beach with many fire pits During the day you can even get some weed on the boardwalk there if you wish, it’s a legit business they sell edibles, vape pens etc Lifeguards are always on the lookout, we witnessed them saying a person’s life, amazing

Good video for a feel of what it's like here I live in N County further up the coast I do see many of these areas though, mostly from either playing music at venues or, even more so, since I design Swimming Pools, Landscapes, Farms (San Diego County has the most ((5,000)) number of farms as any county in the US) and so see the ocean views and other nice places from residential locations I am designing projects for I have not been to several of these places even though local so thanks for sharing

The Taco Stand was sooooo delicious and there is a wait So worth it It happens to be next door to The Donut Bar Jad those for breakfast a different day Half a dozen cost about $22 Ah May Zing And yes, we also went to Carnitas Snack Shack It's right on the water The Triple Threat had schnitzel, Bacon, and pulled pork 2 of our party got those I got the regular pulled pork It was amazing They also have an open air bar and quite a bit of seating, all outside We would've missed this bliss without you: THANKS!!!
