Oh yea Discussing politics is not good There are many American that do I suppose but it’s always something that should be avoided brAt thanksgiving there’s always that one family member who brings up politics, we all hate that member! Just kidding 😊brIn Europe you wouldn’t be able to go into a cafe barefoot? Would you? Isn’t Europe more proper when it comes to things like this? Comment from : Nicole |

Also at a 4 way stop the person on the right does have right away And many American drivers will not turn right on a red Yes they’re annoying, lol brAmericans always in a hurry Maybe because it takes so long to get where we are going! brI enjoyed your video and will be subscribing Can’t wait to see your travels Comment from : Nicole |

Different places are different Even in the US, I live in NYC and people from here go other places and are like "theres no good pizza pr bagels" and its like "yes, its a different place, they have their own things, find them and enjoy it" and people come here and theyre like "its so crowded" and its like 'yes, there are 10 million people, they dont want to be in the subway with you either, get over it and have fun' Comment from : Ledpooplin55 |

As I think you probably noticed, American culture is largely built around the vehicle One thing that you probably missed, and I would HIGHLY recommend for your next trip is, A drive in movie theater! They are getting rarer, but they are a purely American experience From the food to the whole atmosphere Also, find someone who has a classic car (60's-70's) to take a small road trip in It's a completely different experience Just imagine floating down the highway on your living room sofa/couch side note, the idea of a vehicle other than an old commercial truck that can't do but 60 mph is inconceivable to most Americans Many of those can do 80 mph With that being said, if you are in the right-hand lane, they should just deal with it and move on I'm very happy that you enjoyed your trip! I hope you get to come back soon! Comment from : David Northrup |

I feel you would love New England in the fall ❤ Comment from : Wicked Planet |

There’s a lot of trash food in the US, especially when road tripping in the middle of nowhere but there’s a lot of amazing food in the US too I went to London recently What I loved about it was that it’s clear that I’ll lose weight if I live there The food doesn’t feel like it will make me obese That aside my general impression of food in the US cities has been miles ahead London food feels like living a lesser existence, the taste of the food is not there Even the soft serve I had, tasted empty I’m pining to go to Italy and Spain to sample the food there What I’m trying to say is, a lot of American food is delicious but it’s a lot of sugar/fatbrbrThe other thing I realized was the price! Food is as expensive in London as San Francisco, but it was ‘emptier’ and the quantities smaller, which means the food was more expensive than in San Francisco Quantities in America are absolutely mad across the board Comment from : thechocolatemonster |

So pleased you enjoyed your stay In our small No California community we host guests from all over the world who come here to trim pot in the fall I've always found them interesting and respectful guests Much like yourself they find the natural beauty of our valley and surrounding mountains very appealing Despite being old as dirt myself, and they very young, very much relatable We're a very diverse blend of Native Americans, Spanish speaking, and people with European roots A paradise for boon dockers Really enjoyed following your travels in the US, and apologize for Laredo Oh by the way I worked in Prudhoe Bay in the seventies, your assessment was far too kind The place? Covelo, Calif Comment from : David Maxwell |
|
|
I'm always surprised, when visiting Europe, at the alarm most Europeans express concerning firearm ownership, and comments about "gun crazy" Americans My response, it was "gun crazy" Americans that bailed out your asses out in two world wars How soon we forget I've seen American cemeteries in various European nations, but I've never seen a European soldiers cemetery here Comment from : David Maxwell |
|
|
You need to see the other two-thirds of the US: the great plains, the great lakes, the gulf coast, the Mississippi river, the Atlantic seaboard, the Appalachians There is so much more to see! We promise not to ask you about politics Comment from : FurtiveGlancer |

As a foreigner who's lived in the US for about 25 years now:br- Restaurants in big cities are starting to process credit cards at your tablebr- "sidewalks" refer to the sides of the road where pedestrians walk, while "pavement" refers to the paved part of the roads, which actually makes more sense, and got me wondering why we call the sides of the road the "pavement" where I'm from Comment from : Jack Leow |

👍👍👍👍👍😄, As an American I found your perspective very interesting and refreshingly positive Though I can understand how some of the bad opinions are formed about us from our overseas visits The US is a big country which I will never get to see it all in my life time and I really have no need to travel overseas, though I do find foreigners interesting Comment from : Narley |

I'm from the US and have a lot of love for our UK motherland even though I've never been there At times I wish we were all just one country and include Canada as well The US is sort of two countries, the spectacular landscape of the western third and the mostly all the same eastern 2/3 which is where I most of us live But there are some good pockets in the east just not on the same scale as the west Of course the east does have NYC Comment from : MIke R |
|

Never ever let a waiter take your card away from the table As an American, most all know better than that now, so easy for the card info to be hacked and stolen Don't fall for the tipping 25/30 percent suggested scam For those that do not know, the waiter or waitress will not get 100 percent of the tip Management is on the take for a cut, so unless you give the waiter cash in hand, more than likely they will just get a percentage of that tip Comment from : Susan Stewart |

I disagree with your assessment that people don’t drive stick here It’s becoming less common but certainly isn’t a given I grew up driving stick and my husband currently has a manual People just tend to prefer automatic Comment from : M Montague |
|

The tipping culture in the US has gotten WAY out of hand! Starbucks started the whole tipping at a counter nonsense I don’t tip at counters Unless they actually walk to my table and bring me something, I don’t tip The tipping culture over here is NUTS & it drives me crazy! Comment from : M Montague |

Fun fact: Ram pick up truck drivers have the highest rate of drunk driving among all car types I live in Texas and let me tell you, pick up truck drivers are the most pathetic insecure angry men on the planet I am planning to leave the US because of cars I hate driving I hate how american cities are just a big wasteland of asphalt and parking lots Without a car, I am literally stranded and treated like an animal Comment from : WhatIsThis |

Hi😊so the reason why you couldn’t have entered public places barefoot is mostly for the liability of it Same thing with eating your own food in cafes It’s because they don’t want to get sued if you get hurt or sick in their amenity I hope that clarifies the reasons Comment from : Justyna Kurzejewska |

The US is probably the most advanced nation on earth, its absolutely gorgeous nature, for the most part kind great people, top-notch universities and a host of other fantastic qualities a nation could have However, its foreign policy is where it lacks and as a result has caused backlash from many other nations Comment from : Yourstruly |

Why do dog owners always have a big problem with food stores and restaurants not allowing dogs inside? Having a dog is a choice and such situations are a responsibility that is connected with a choice of having a dog It's the same with vegans, that always demand a vegan menu everywhere they go The world is not obligated to bend in your direction because you chose something People on a keto diet don't complain in vegan restaurants that there should be a meat menu for them It's like people choosing to be on a diet and expect others not to eat delicious things in their presence :) That is just absurd :) Comment from : Daniel Sosnowski |
