When I was visiting SF, the smell of poop, urine was noticeable in some places There were used syringes on the street and lots of homeless people I saw a couple cars with busted windows and people taking stuff without paying anything What in the world is going on?

I had a blast in San Fran ! Stayed in a really cool hostel (Green Tortoise ) which is in a great location! I tried clam chowder served in a giant sour dough bowl (wasn’t a fan !) went to Alcatraz , joined a walking tour (free of charge, would recommend) and joined in a drum circle with some old school hippies at golden gate park!

Other places to visit in San Francisco are the Twin Peaks, Ocean Beach, SF State College, Lake Merced, and one street that is always overlooked is the street right before the crookedest street, which is so steep it's scary
