I really enjoy viewing The Real South Africa channel and how you keep people of the diaspora informed of what is happening in South Africa I am from Washington state and I have a friend who is a South African native living in Joburg and she tells me that South Africa is always having water and power outage problems And they constantly go through load shedding After hearing about these problems the country suffers from it has really made me hesitant about wanting to visit or eventually make a move there And I have never heard you discuss these problems in the country when I have viewed your channel? This is so exciting and I happy for you all! I don't see many (tbh, I can't recall if ever) I've seen an ad on Hulu for a black owned company (which is highly problematic in and of itself) I hope this strategy proves to be mutally benefical and evolves into an incubator for further collaboration brbrI think the ad is great - beautfiul contrast of city vs rural, models represented, beautiful lighting, and voiceover It's neutral and don't feel as though it too much targets a certain demographic group I think it'll be so fun to see this as America is now in fall/winter seasons brbrIf you were looking to enhance the video brGhana's done a great job with their PR pushing black Americans in droves to the country That said, I think people think December-time when they think of Ghana given its many activities/festivals I think it could benefit future ads to highlight that regardless of which season people visit, they'll still have this very beautiful experience I think for future ads you could dial up or dial down the type of traveler you're targeting: more family-oriented vs more baecation vs solo traveler I think its happening regardless of ad-channel - even if its slowly - but I still think there's lots more opportunity around storytelling I'm not suggesting anybody's doing anything wrong thusfar, but I'm still hearing there are folks in the US who still have this unfavorable view of SA (eg that its dangerous) Lastly, another appealing aspect regardless of the type of traveler coming with USD (or Euros or CAD or western money) - people will be able to squeeze in so much more luxury and joy than many other destination spotsbrbrBest of luck in the ad launch!
