Ok Chris, I’ve got to share I took a grab motorbike taxi about 8 miles across bangkok The fare was $105 baht When I arrived I paid the driver and put a 20 in one hand and a $50 in the other and tried to get the driver to guess which one for his tip He was so confused and had absolutely no idea what I was doing I ended up giving him the $70 He was very happy

I've been to Thailand 70 times over the last 27 years I would NEVER go that distance on a motor-taxi! And with 2 people with no helmets, very dangerous The BTS or Metro are very fast, safe, don't have traffic issues and are air conditioned and economical! A motor-taxi is great for 2 to 10 blocks, but my life, safety, and ability continue walking is worth more than that ride! As you love to say, "I won't tell you a lie!"
