Here in France many roads have an inferior layer of clinker (our non-recyclable waste is burnt at very high temperature and clinker is what's left after it burns), so that's sort of recycling waste

the detractors forget one thing it is making more power in space not designed or used to make power so efficient or not it is a net gain because you now added more power in a non traditional power location a road a bike pat a buildings roof etc that is very low cost power sequestered plastics and carbons increase in durability and longevity and increase in power potential a small change and you get many rewards rewards all looking after different parts of different problems brbrto me this would be money well spent

If your goal is cleaner transit that's better for the environment and just humans tbh, public transportation systems are 1000 the way to go Implementing trains, buses, bike infrastructure, and making public places more walkable will greatly decrease space needed to move people from 10 lanes of freeway to 2 or 3 sets of light rail tracks and walking space while also allowing more room for green space (way better at drainage than hollow plastic roads) Also reduces transportation pollution and costs to the average person, along with being already developed and ready to put down tech
