I met a landscaper today We were communicating in Spanish When I walked away he and his crew were speaking a dialect I’ve never spoken before I was fascinated I knew they were from Mexico because of the Spanish dialect, but when they started speaking another dialect, I knew it was something I’ve never heard before Next time I see him, I’m going to ask him what dialect or language it is I’m so curious

It is funny that he accidentally said something in a "flirty" tone to the man I would imagine that tone and awkward word placement could cause some misunderstandings I saw where this lady that was married to a Japanese man said that she was having an emotional moment and her husband said "what is wrong with you" which offended her What he was meaning was "what is wrong"Both phrases would be technically right but could carry a very different message
