Comfort Plus is not the same as Premium Economy, it is 2 different seatings areas Comment from : Terry Nelson |
I had a comfort+ ticket from ATL to TPA recently on a 767 and I had a middle isle 2x2 seat config, with a full reclining chair and leg rest… weird how the same plane can be so different Comment from : Zack |
Wait baby they offered juice and soda, delta comfort servs alcohol Comment from : QUEEN LOLITA |
Cross country with extra legroom and free alcohol? Count me in Comment from : Evan J |
So all you're getting for the extra money is sufficient leg room, not bextra/b leg room just isufficient/i leg room? Comment from : Voltaic Fire |
Comfort+ sure as hell beats main cabin Worth it Get 1st class tho if you can Comment from : dillon |
this video is horseshit we didnt watch this to hear about your stomach problems Comment from : Yoav Anatian |
I’m flying this class in March I had an unused credit with them so I decided to use it for an international flight to Portugal brbrI’m ok with it being subpar 😂 I just wanted to use that credit it saved me a lot of money Comment from : B Rizzle |
Yeah the issue is those 767-300s are old and outdated, so none of the upgrade classes are as nice as they are on the newer Delta planes This is mostly about the route Those planes are on the less traveled routes, so if you are doing one of those, you're stuck with the 767-300 -- you probably don't have a choice on Delta The biggest benefit to Comfort+ is the 2 seat config on the sides If you are traveling as a couple it's nice to not be stuck with one middle seat or someone between the two of you Comment from : Mario Gutierrez |
💚 Comment from : Aแอส Aa |
Well, it is Economy Class Comment from : scotts tempmail |
Premium Economy seems to vary a lot between airlines much more than Economy and Buisness either side Comment from : kevan hubbard |
The only plus on Delta comfort plus is the free drink Comment from : Toni DNY |
Oh no gold fish (I’m watching after I watched the delta a220 den-slc Comment from : MR_MONKEY |

Beautiful Comment from : Yash Mittal |
Couldn't keep watching negative toned video Pessimistic all the way through Ick! Comment from : Abigail Soto |
I don’t think Delta markets this as premium economy It’s called Comfort+ which is basically an extra legroom economy seat on most airlines There’s normally another cabin that slots above the extra legroom seats which is called PY Comment from : Kevin Zeng |
"Let's be honest this is basically economy class" Exactly Comfort Plus IS economy same everything just more legroom To be clear on other flights Delta does have an upgraded Premium Economy If your ticket is for comfort plus that isn't it It is economy with more legroom For those of us 6 ft+ it is the bare minimum Food, seats, IFE, everything is is exactly economy but with the seats having a longer pitch Comment from : Gerald Davis |
Funny I flew ATL-SEA on a B767-400ER and decided to say screw it and go "Economy +" Only for it to basically be a domestic first class seat, best flight of my life! Though the lie flats would've been fun! Comment from : CngDelta757 |
After experiencing a red-eye transcon on this plane type, good god I gotta agree Comment from : Foxpresso |
Enjoyed 👍👍👍👍👍 Comment from : Derisley Brittain |
The first time I was in comfort plus, it was in a bulkhead, aisle seat with the middle seat empty Not only was it comfy and roomy, but it felt pretty great - no complaint at all ;-) Comment from : Ritz |
The good thing is that the 763’s are getting an actual premium economy product during the next 2 years So you should try to do a proper one when you get the chance to fly on a refitted aircraft! Comment from : FLL Aviation |
Yeah that’s not premium economy… That’s just regular c+ Comment from : Paul Francis |
I booked my flight from SFO to JFK in May and I’ve been watching your delta flight reviews! Im on a 737-300 so it sounds like I won’t get the brand new business class model I currently have economy and considering just doing the comfort plus What are your thoughts? Also, great stuff you’re putting out there! Comment from : Jonathan Campos |
The quality of your video is impressive I booked comfort + for the free alcohol Comment from : AnnFletch |
Has San Diego Internation started on the renovation of Terminal 1 yet? I heard that it was to begin soon Love the reviews Keep them coming Comment from : stitch16261 |
When I flew Delta from the US to Japan and back in Nov 2019, the Comfort+ seats were much wider and more padded and I’ve seen a few other sources state that Comfort+ gets the Business class meal options Is that just on international flights or on Airbus or other Boeings? Comment from : ozzyg2010 |
I am a Platinum Medallion so pretty much all my flights are in Comfort+, with few lucky Delta One upgrades Your medallion status does not matter when it comes to boarding If you are Comfort+, you will board with all Comfort+ passengers Status does not matter Comment from : Yuriy Umanskiy |
Hello Sanspotter Aer lingus has started its new route please review this soon brbrJack Comment from : Jack Meehan |
Better to go in Economy and using the saving to buy lounge access before the flight? Comment from : Well-blazered Man |
They use to let you order food I wonder when they took it out This sucks I have a euro trip plan via comfort + Comment from : Jason Sharpton |
first, thanks for the shoutout! second, i really dislike the DL 767-300 even in their retrofitted Delta One product, mostly because those planes are poorly maintained/so old that the overall experience in every cabin suffers the 757-400 that's retrofitted seems to be a step up, as well as the Airbus models you called out Glad you made it safely though! Comment from : victoria lo |
Love your videos man I remember when you had only 11k subscribers great for you Was wondering it be cool if you did an air Canada and west jet comparison like you did Korean air and asiana Comment from : Adrian K |
Love the videos Scott! One of the best aviation channels on YouTube! Comment from : CMC |
Did you mention the complimentary alcohol, beer, and wine that’s offered in Comfort+?? Comment from : Walter Davis |
Alot of people get comfort+ for the free booze Comment from : Matthew Breen |
Delta NEVER calls Comfort+ “premium” so the expectation that you should get lounge access for a general seat with just extra leg room… I don’t understand what you were expecting but no one, literally no one, calls C+ “premium”… brbrThis review totally missed the mark Comment from : Mark Bailey, Jr |
One of your best! Comment from : alanleech37 |
Delta Premium Economy and Comfort Plus are two very different products Comment from : Hector Lopez |
What a joke, how are these guys still in business Comment from : FramedMan |
I had a great Delta crew to and from LAX-HND in 2017 I did have a little spill on my knee with the jetbridge after landing in HND the flight crew rushed to my aide and assistance after my fall the HND gate crew even asked if I requested for a doctor too (I didn’t need a doctor assistance) I didn’t have to wait long waiting to pass through HND clearance and I had the same flight crew going back on the HND-LAX flight Comment from : Erin Iglesias |
You are mixing comfort plus economy with premium economy which are two different products Premium has priority boarding and biz class food Comment from : Vic G |
I fly comfort+ almost every time I flybrIt's just economy with extra leg roombrIt makes a big difference on transatlantic flights Comment from : Badger at Toad Hall |
Love the 767 Germany trips with my wife! Comment from : Matt Ball |
If I paid cash for a domestic delta flight, I would NEVER pay extra for Delta's 'premium' products ATL-BNA for example (1 hour flight), is $200 in economy, but $400 in C+ and $700 in first Neither of those classes are worth anywhere near the price difference Comment from : hatching draggon |
Hey Scott! Just found your channel today and it immediately is going in my top “aviation enthusiast” channels! I love your video style! Keep it up! Comment from : Keewee |
This product is 'economy with extra legroom' while the real Premium Economy is a different class of service Was that product not installed on these aircraft? I noticed that Delta does fly to Europe with these 767s, it sounds odd to me that they would not feature a real premium economy product on those routes Comment from : xandrios |
I have delta a lot between Orlando and different parts of the country Sadly I am moving on to another airline It’s like they don’t care about their passengers any longer They just stuff you in and give you a water and goldfish for the next 5 hours and never come back around Comment from : Jerry Mather |
The blueberry things were just awful I tried once of those last October in that section Comment from : KevinPDX1 |
Comfort+ isn’t “Premium Economy”, it’s literally just more room, that’s it Comment from : José Adorno |
Comfort+ is basically like the "Economy Plus" in UA and "Main Cabin Extra" in AA Those are not Premium Economy AA and UA have real Premium Economy cabin on top of Econ Plus and MCE It just means Delta doesn't really have Premium Economy Class Comment from : raylee17 |
As a fan of delta, the cost of Comfort plus is not worth the $$ When upgraded to it for free it’s still not that nice Comment from : Aloha from Kauai |
The face panties mandate is absolutely ridiculous and stupid First of all, they're useless Secondly, if they did work, once they're removed to eat, they're useless This is the only virus that knows when it's time to eat and drink Comment from : ILC 1234 |
I'm flying on the Delta 767-300 from JFK-Barcelona mid-march Is thiis what i have to look forward to? 😭 Comment from : John Manners |
The only perk of Comport Plus is the free booze Pre-Covid it used to have an upgraded snack basket Comment from : Ionosphere |
Granted, you said you were "late to board" but some of your information is amiss or the gate agents did not follow boarding priority Comfort Plus are supposed to board after only Diamond Medallion members and first class/Delta One cabin, but before Platinum and lower tiers Yes the others will likely board first or along with you because of complimentary seat upgrades, but only because they're in a higher or equal cabin, not because of their statusbr I tend to hop on a small regional CRJ 900 Delta connection flight and I prefer the comfort plus because I get my bag above my head; not gate checked I can grab and go To me? That's the perk Another benefit I had once is (while I infuriated my mother for paying $100 more for that comfort plus seat) I was seated beside a man who was simply working on his laptop instead of being relegated back fifteen to twenty feet with frat guys who were loud enough I could hear nearly every word they were saying to each other On that same trip the gate agent tagged my bag despite me being comfort plus on a 900 I was pissed but hey I got 8,000 SkyMiles when I called in to complain That flight was prior to me having two co-branded cards So I'm like you - still a no status peon lol I just know how they're supposed to board Some gate agents do it properly, some don't My last flight was in Oct and they had just started their proper boarding again like two or three days before my flight instead of the "back to front" So I was happy Either way, take care, sir Safe miles always Hope you enjoyed the tunnels I had a 4 hour lay over there once so I explored all under Old Atlanta history, the various statues, every section unique I really liked the experience haha Comment from : NCKyle1980 |
Alright I don’t mean to be that guy BUT if you really wanted to, you very well bcould/b have went to the galley and asked for more snacks brbrWhen my parents were FAs, they often brought a good few unused snacks home that would have otherwise been thrown out Comment from : Mike Miller |
Happy New Year, Sanspotter Comment from : Simon Davey |
Us crew call it economy comfort Comment from : Nobility |
Comfort Plus isn't supposed to be Premium Economy though lol, it's literally economy with more legroom Comment from : Matt Cruiser |
Starbucks oatmeal is Quaker Oats Comment from : Greg Marquez |
I wish all the domestic airlines were subscribe to your channel and listened to how you poke fun at the sad truth about how they cost cut on just about everything I heard the big three, meaning American, Delta and United are back to selling food in economy class, is that true? Thanks for sharing your wonderful experience with us Scott!❤️👍✈️! Comment from : Diane Schroeder |
Scott, I flew Delta economy in an MD-11 from PDX to ATL in 1996, and was served a proper full hot meal!brbrDelta's present experience is subpar for a legacy carrier Comment from : L R G |
👍👍🇦🇺 Comment from : kiwitrains |
I am 6ft 6 and always fly main cabin on Delta (no premium pay extra seats) And i fit comfortably That is why is i chose delta to cross the pond when going to Tenerife (I am on united's inaugural flight to tenrife in june) Comment from : Daniel Noble |
Flew Comfort Plus SFO-JFK Flight 300 6/2/21 Very underwhelmed Lazy, rude and inattentive flight crew I can practically feel the eye rolls when I rang for snacks and water Also didn’t see much difference between the Comfort Plus product over Main Cabin I am a Silver Medallion member #medallionlife #delta #deltaairlines #edbastian Comment from : Raymond Hummel |
I enjoy it when I'm in comfort+ I'll take the extra legroom, dedicated snack basket and free alcoholic drinks if I'm in the mood Comment from : Nicks Dynasty |
The Mountainbiker is here!!!! I'm late but I'm here !!!! You came to Atlanta me neck of the woods and didn't hit me up !!!!!! Your favourite Mountainbiker??lolbrbrWelp got my redbull & subway !!!brLet's FREAKING go another Sanspotter video!!!!!!!! The Mountainbiker is here!!!!!!brbrLol Comment from : #AL2SmoothTheMountainbiker |
It should be advertised as "extra legroom" It's like paying an extra $30 for an exit row in Economy Did you pay more than $30 extra for your ticket? The legroom was all you got Comment from : Bob |
This is your penance for not having a decent meal pre-flightjust be happy you didn't want to fly Spirit or Frontier Haha Now don't do that to us or yourself again LOLbrI haven't flown Delta in almost 20 yearsthis flight review isn't going to make me pick them anytime soon In the end, you paid them extra $$$ for nothing Really didn't look like much extra legroom I'll stick to flying JetBlue and occasionally Southwest I'd normally say thanks for the reviewbut, no thanks Sad about the Healthwhich, whatever that is/was, cause I've never had one Comment from : itsnotme07 |
Hmmm You got to board in advance for a 3 inch differential in a Economy class seat with zero food I'm very confused and am going to SAN to buy your amazing shoes in every videobut not on DL ever from YYC Lol Garbage in the skies Comment from : Patrick Pick |
once out of the pandemic (if it ever happens) I am sure that cabin service will improve brbrThat said, as someone who is tall with two forms of debilitating arthritis and circulatory matters, getting that extra legroom is a huge benefit No way could I crowbar my tall stiff unlimber frame into a "steerage class" seat where the person in front ends up in my lap through much of the flight brbr Premium Economy seating is pretty much what Coach used to be in the days before deregulation Basic economy, well, a Greyhound bus has more legroom (24" - 25" seat pitch) Yeah hat is ow bad air travel in the states has becomebrbrAs to downsides, the two ones for me are flying on a narrowbody aircraft like a 737, 757 or A320/321 because you still have that cursed middle seat to deal with (like when nature decides to make a call) and you still pay luggage fees which if like myself, you travel with two smaller suitcases (I do so to spread the full weight evenly) can add significantly to the cost of the ticket (140$ for a round trip with two checked bags) About the only carry-on I travel with is a small notebook computer case so as to make getting through the TSA checkpoint as quick and painless as possiblebrbrThat is when I hit the reservation sites and see what prices I can get for advance purchase first class I've been surprised on occasion to find at time the cost was not terribly much more after I add in the luggage fees to the Comfort+ fare Once it was something like 32$ which is little more than what dinner and an evening at the cinema costs Of course the benefit is worth the little extra, as you get to use the lounge, you board first and deplane first, the seats are bigger and you have even more legroom, and you actually get something more than a biscuit bag of crisps and bottle of water or high fructose laden soft drink Oh and no bored 7 year old kicking the back of your seat throughout the flightbrbrI do admire the fact that Delta Comfort is it's own specific cabin (Alaska does something similar) whereas the other domestic airlines just designate certain rows of seats (usually exit rows and bulkhead) in the main economy cabin for their "premium" service brbrSadly, up here in Portland, just about every domestic flight on Delta (even to the east coast and Atlanta) is now a 737-900 or occasionally an A320/321 (not even an older A330, 767 or that sweet little A-220) hence why I usually take the train to SeaTac and fly out of there for a long trip Comment from : BC Shelby |

JetBlue Comment from : Christopher Mara |
Love the wraparound loo mirrors! Was once on an Allegiant MD-80 that had wraparound mirrors (even a mirror on the door I think) with lots of blue trim on the wall Still hitting myself for not getting the reg of that aircraft so I could’ve seen who the previous owner was 🥲 Comment from : Cactus9 |
Garbage product , Ugh Comment from : WhiskeyKilo2H |

Delta operates the A330-300 from PHX - ATL and is sometimes substituted with the A330 -900 Comment from : Evan Schildgen |
Amazing video Scott!😸 Comment from : Ryan Frisby |
Great video Scott, but cmon Delta? The words premium and comfort don’t correlate to this plane experience Not much better than a 737 it seems? Comment from : Jo Willard |
Starbucks oatmeal is really good, now just imagine they had a chicken and rice flavor pack Comment from : Andrew Tubbiolo |
Scott’s bald head is a real inspiration Comment from : Dylan Bergmann |
Great advice Sir Thanks 🙏 Comment from : Charles Fernandez |
They need to be clear about the difference between Premium Economy and Economy Plus Premium Economy has a proper wide seat, while Economy Plus just gives you legroom Comment from : smallmj |
