I've read that in addition to the four speed standard trans that this had what the actual S'cruiser and the Trailways 4104s at the end of that series's era (1958-1960) had---two speed rear end, just like many other vehiches, but eventually this prototype didn't go through (and of course was the Scenics and except for those Trailways PD 4104s I cite had were just the same four speeds that the Suburban FIshbowls had :)) Comment from : Steve Carras |

Good questions! No one has proof today, but the stories are that GX-1 was cut up and scrapped (?) during the mid-50s in Chicago and that GX-2 ended up in a junkyard in Tennessee Comment from : paulmontry |
