So i have just found critical role in the past few days by pute luck I knew about d and d a little but had never played I decided to start watching campaign 2 and while i fully dont understand some of the rules im hooked I feel a bit sad as i never never knew about and realised how such little bits of randomess like painting poop on a wall and the "peoples canes " can make these worlds seem so much more alive brWhile i dont know if ill ever play it , i do know that its found a new fan and i gained a whole new level of appreciation for this storytelling

I feel bad for Travis so much as he plays Fjord, I’m watching this campaign over again and he tries so hard to be smooth but either the other players, or their characters, are too stupid to catch onto his quick witted ideas For instance the sister 43:39 He wasn’t saying that Toya was Beau’s sister He was saying that Beau had a sister in her past that was attacked in a similar way which would explain and give context to Beau’s actions because she would see ‘her sister’ in Toya But the rest of the party couldn’t understand and it just led to them messing it up I wish this was the only example but it happens all throughout the game The rest of the players (with the exception of Sam, Liam, and Taliesin (and Laura on occasion) simply don’t pick up on it quick enough and it gets on my nerves It leads to them making fun of him or ragging on his plans simply because they aren’t quick witted enough to understands them
