The current way of going to space is very inefficient As it relies on chemical reaction which is very costly Space elevator is now still a concept, but if built, will make space tourism available not just for people with insane amount of money to be used as fuel for their rocket, but normal people like you and me It will be built with carbon nanotubes on the earth's equator

I wonder what the space tourism industry will be like in 20-30 years Maybe I could afford it with my future middle class income (since,I'm still in college) I wouldn't want to go if it's merely affordable, but with a huge ship with lots of stuff to do Like a pool, a museum with an awesome planetarium, and of course a good viewing room, and it would go to the moon That would be so cool, I hope I get into space before I die

How about combining it with use for fast travel In other words your take off and landing are in different locations so that you can get from New York to Sydney, Australia in a couple of hours So the passengers will be combining time saving travel with the experience of space flight
