San simeon has America's only legitimate castle (its built like a castle) imagine asgard and thays exactly what it feels snd looks like, hearst castle its an hourish south of thr big sur area once it says your in san simeon literslly look towards the east on the mountains, i went on a tour as a 10 year old snd saw my first major crush 😂 she jumped in the pool(which only family of Hearst was aloud if i remenber cottectly) the pool is lined woth 24k gold too, william R Hearst was part of the reason behknd the criminalization of cannabis nkt vecahse of its psychoactive properties but because other conpanies used the hemp as a cheaper alternative for newpapers and hearst owned a newspaper company called the san Francisco examjner so he did what he could to make weed illegal, he wasnt the only reaskn tho

Big sur is literally ehere i am from, well im from cayucos which is 35 mjns south of san someon, big sur is legit incredible if you ever need to find a local spot in big sur go to the only msrket that's near salmon creek snd ask ehere the gorge is, its a beautiful natural swimming pool, theres a free camping spot a little ways north of salmon creek(a hiking/camling spot u pay for) and the free one theres not a lot of people around so its relatively nice, big sur is my spirit animal 😂😂😂
