Chennai is amodern metropolis and Southern India's major city with a lot of culture and tradition rooted here not to mention the food However, that river Cooum is a sorry sight because it is higly polluted; succesive governments have tried cleaning it up but failed miserably Hopefully, it will be revived and made suitable for navigation one day
