Visited Uzbekistan with my wife and a tour group in 2017, this is an excellent documentary, well put together! Such a fascinating contrast to our pre-perceptions in the West, the Russians did a good job here restoring the Islamic architecture and Samarkand in particular is an excellent City to visit Personally we loved Khiva and Bukhara, but the whole country is worth a visit Very friendly people, lovely food and an excellent high speed train line from Samarkand to Tashkent This is a great visit!
