Out of Avignon, Arles, Nimes, I really liked Nimes the best It had the energy of a real city with the historic charm The other 2 just seemed like tourist traps

I love Arles! I've stayed in both Avignon and Arles and, while both were great, I prefer Arles Wonderful small hotel right next to the amphitheater

I am glad you did a review of that city You have said a lot but I will add more :br1-At the opposite of the gate where you have done your vlog, was the house where Vincent Van gogh lived with Gauguin This house has been distroyed during WWIIbr2-The city hall has a really interresting architecture and especially the ceilling of the hall Specialists have studied that ceilling and they didn't find how the builders have started itbr3-With the Church, you have also a cloister that you can visit and it's really nice and typical placebr4-Close to the Arena you have the national photography schoolbr5-In the old train factories area, Frank Gerhy is builing a tower which should be finish in 2017-18

I went to Arles too last year, just for an afternoon (because I was going to Bordeaux with my schoolmates) I didn't know the Van Gogh's thing, what a pity D: I only visited the theater and the Arena and it was just like being in Italy, where I live! ahah

Thanks for your video! Yes, a beautiful city! I was there , one Summer, several years ago, the cathedral was undergoing restoration and almost completely covered with scaffolding and tarps The indicators of Van Gogh's art must be recent, I don't remember them Inside the coliseum I spent a while reading the graffiti and initial carvings from the late 1800s At the coliseum entrance was a poster advertising an upcoming Joe Cocker concert I can imagine a concert, under the stars of a Provence evening, must be an extraordinary experience It's great that you take your kids on so many trips By adulthood they will have seen so very much to enrich their lives I wish you and your family many happy travels
