Liam, its great that you enjoyed your visit to the New Forest, and you are obviously unaware, but wild camping in the Forest is not allowed, as this is a highly sensitive area for wildlife Wild camping can cause real damage, resulting from discarded litter, fly-tipped equipment, and fire risks from irresponsible fires and BBQs - all posing major risks to the landscape and wildlife Visitors are welcome to the New Forest, but they must ensure they use the designated campsites to help protect the special environment

There are plenty of authorised camping sites in the New Forest In order to protect the park and keep it safe, wild camping is illegal so use the sites provided please

Thank you I'm a recent scriber Loving your hikes My son's a wild camper, recently did Norway Wild camping isn't illegal in Norway Beautiful in summer But expensive brWouldn't your feet fair better in hiking boots Trainers aren't water proof Hiking boots will keep your feet dry, warm Better for long treks

Love it mate! I lived in brook for 25 years im 31 now,I used to camp all over that way and through stoney cross its a nice area! Seing the sun rise from there is a good one aswell! Good for liberty caps aswell

Lovely video New Forest is our ‘local’ national park ‘Forest”, as well as usually meaning a large area of woodland, also means a hunting reserve set aside for royalty and in which special (and draconian) laws applied That’s the original meaning here Lesser nobility had ‘chases’ Just for info

Last time I camped in the New Forest, was enjoying some local venison sausages, when a herd of deer wandered past!! Felt a tad guilty, but those sausages were really tasty!

A large part of the forest was cut down long ago to build a grand fleet in Portsmouth hence why there is little forest in some parts

ohhhhh bloody hell 🤤 haslet mi nannan used to make me warm haslet sandwiches on bread just like that with a dash of brown sauce when I when to her house on the weekend, absolutely gorgeous used to have dripping sandwiches too, many moons ago Great stuff Liam, I think ill be off to the local butchers for some haslet this week now 👍

No Liam the burnt area was a wild fire made by some scallywag😡😡 or careless camper! Once started the fire will quickly rush through the dry grass and hit the gorse bushes! What is with the trend of all kinds of people leaving their jobs, to walk aimlessly across the country And asking viewers to support them ? You tube pays them, why do the viewers need to pay also ? They do the burning because they want to keep it as heathland, they hit the gause bushes which I reckon would provide wind protection for baby trees Would be a really dope forest otherwise
