I understand that BP is one of the most-irresponsible companies that have ever existed on this planet for not looking after the entire area where the oil spilled and ensured that all areas affected were protected from destruction but on the contrary, these people were able to pinpoint the root cause of the problem which was the death of the mangrove trees etc, but weren’t they able to anticipate it a lot earlier? Forget about anticipating this as the worst case scenario a few weeks following the spill but at least 2-3 years later!
