That crime kinda stays around east central, where nobody goes anyway The city is tearing down entire blocks of old decrepit homes over there Most of that happening around 10 years ago

I wasn’t born in Spokane but I love Spokane and I actually live there wonderful people People are making bad reviews that Spokane have white trash or white racist I disagree 100 percent … the smoke and the snow? Yes sometimes we do have smoke and snow off course it’s lovely…I moved from Alaska to Spokane it’s like moving from a lot snow ❄️ to too many snow ❄️ , im snow lover so what’s up? I went to college and lived in Spokane and it seemed no one wanted to stay there after they finished college The reason for that, I soon learned was do to lack of decent paying jobs I was like a fair size city trying to function like a small town No-one wants to stay in a town that doesn't have a position for what you went to school for, and even working part time, I learned the pay was not that good Usually, if the cost of living in low, the good paying jobs aren't there or the econmy is lacking When the 2 biggest employers are regional hospitals, that doesn't show alot of emplyment opertunities for someone that has a tech or some other degree When I would drive through town, it felt like I was stuck 20 or 30 years in a time warp This was sveral years ago, and it has changed quite a bit However, when I have gone back there, it still has that same time warp feeling Like a city tyring to be a small town I found the place kind of depressing

I lived in and near spokane wa for 2 years It still is probably one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen The people in spokane are super kind and friendly and the air quality is great Stop making videos of things you dont know Also, idaho was probably the most gorgeous state I've traveled to

This is way off Our air quality isn't bad, And the University District is great No more crime than any other city And our weather is like Colorado Rent is an issue, I'll give you that And we have a homeless problem, in large part because of a lack of affordable housing But taxes are reasonable

The Davenport hotel isn't in the U district, most of the wildfires are on the east slope of the Cascade mtns, unfortunately the prevailing winds blow from west to east

FYI, The air quality is because of wild firesand the fires are usually miles and miles away from Spokane But yeah, This Briggs dude tries to know, but he has no clue really I was born and raised in Spokane, left in the 90s I ended up living in quite a few different cities in states and a few townships in a commonwealth All are different and all are ugly as shit Spokane is one of the best places I've lived

3:31 thats a funny picture of university district to use when complaining about parking I have parked for free about 1000 feet from where that picture was taken for the past 6 years theres a couple streets they forgot to zone off im taking that location with me to my grave the school is now charging 1500$/yr for parking was 72$/term when i started but you had to park in a dirt lot the irony is that the parking company that enforces the parking there basically rents the land for free from the school inorder to provide cheap parking services to students all that moneys going somewhere and its not even to the school

You forgot to tell them that even though we have state of the art medical facilities we have some of the rudest and some worst medical staff My mom broke her hip and she was recovered after only eight weeks and unfortunately broke her pelvis and when we took her to the hospital the nurse came in and said to her we’re not giving you any narcotics you need to suck it up lady I was never so shocked you could’ve punched me in the face you know and I would’ve been less shock I can’t believe they allow people like that to work in the hospital but I’ll tell you I’ve had several negative experiences in the hospitals here so be aware of that if you have any type of health issues

I lived in Spokane for 20 years 92-12 and I was among those fat people you so talk about And the only conclusion I could come up with for when I lived there because I am in Idaho now and A lot skinnier than I was I honestly would have to say the weather the cloud coverage it’s always gloomy there and it’s never really sunny it’s just always depressing and it turned to me eating a lot in Spokane 20 years there in 10 years in Idaho so far and Idaho is way better than spokane

1:55 I've lived in Spokane for some 15 years and I noticed that people, especially women, do appear a bit older than in some other areas I think the dry climate is also contributing to it and the fact that people may not be consuming enough water on a daily basis Lotions and cremes aren't gonna help if you're dehydrated brbrIn Seattle, for example, where climate is more humid, people don't have to drink as much to maintain their minimal hydration level as opposed to Eastern WA like in Spokane brbrPeople need to drink water in Spokane probably twice as much compared to people living in Seattle area No lotions will ever help if your diet is shit and you're chronically dehydrated I mean look at local Tinder lol - younger girls are nice and pretty but as soon as you're looking at someone past 30, a lot of women look way older than they should

Air quality is bad when wildfires are bad, but the air quality index is usually under 50, which is good Idaho does suck and they do come here a lot Wildfires themselves don’t end up in the city, we just catch the fallout, you won’t lose your house to the wildfires U-district isn’t that bad Crime here is mostly property crime Spokane does experience drought pretty often these years and yeah, it snows Rent is going up and the housing market is kinda nuts Taxes are accurate number, but property tax just went up recently Homelessness has exploded and is extremely bad downtown through to the west hills and lower south hill

We've had a lot of wildfires cause I started a new country on the west coast in 2014 Now in 2021 I've banned rent on the entire continent Taxation is theft We don't have taxes anymore and the new government runs instead by donation There are vacant homes 17 to 1 per homeless I think it is Many mansions yet so many homeless Perhaps somehow I could coax the people into being more considerate in this callous capitalist society they made for us
