That hike is tough! I did it when i visited back in 2014 I live in WI, we don't have mountains, i was not an experienced hiker, i have asthma and i did it in August when it was hot and humid Probably stopped to catch my breath every five minutes I made it to the top and it was worth it! Several years ago a friend of mine did a summer internship at Harper's Ferry and I would go visit every weekend We would get access to areas that weren't open to the general public and after the park closed for the day we pretty much had the run of the place There's a fantastic pub on High Street called The Rabbit Hole where we would end our day of hiking and exploring Harper's Ferry is hands down one of my favorite places on earth Comment from : Johnny Chaos |

Great video It was great to learn more about Harpers Ferry, my 3 great grandfather fought there with the 3rd Maryland/ West Virginia Snake Hunters regiment He along with my 3rd great uncle were captured and sent to a POW camp They were eventually released but my great uncle would die from an illness he contradicted from the camp Comment from : Republic Saver |
