Our experience was that Lanesboro closed up at 2 pm on a Sunday Hard to find food or anything we also had problems just finding a burger in other rural areas, so you may want to be prepared to picnic if out on a Sunday Ali, North Shore short in fast food it grocery stores; even like cals agree Picnic

I live in Wisconsin But I've really enjoyed my trips to New Ulmthe State Parks along the St Croix, the drive north from Duluth along Lake Superior and the drive along the river from Red Wing to La Crosse

Great video! Born and raised in MN and still here I appreciate your aerial views! I have never been down the great river road, and that gave me incentive to make that trip (I live an hour and a half north of the cities) Have you ever seen the spot where the St Croix and Mississippi rivers meet? They are different colors and it's like line in the water That would be a great aerial view!

As someone who really couldn't care less about art (I thought the Guggenheim in NYC was mostly meh), The maritime museum that he mentions in Winona is pretty amazing Give it a try if you're in Winona For real Like for real, for real I'm not into boats or painting and I found it fascinating Dunno why it's maybe just the presentation brbrI can't recommend it enough and I am pretty pessimistic about these things Just go The only way I can see someone not liking it at least a bit is if they're blind

FYI, the Great River Road is in Wisconsin, as are most of the towns mentioned there You must have crossed the Mississippi a few times, but yes, it is a Great River Road Thanks for the actual Minnesota info, especially the Superior trip

I'm disappointed you left out some of old Highway 52 that includes Stearns County and St Cloud and Sauk Centre, leading to Fergus Falls and the gorgeous Otter Tail County A majro park, Park Region, is worth the rtip alone

Very Nice Video but of course just touch the surface brbrI definitely agree with North Shore drive as #1 I generally don't like driving long distances But rented a Mustang GT and driving North Shore was one big exception Loved every minute of that trip brbrBut what's with the video, it looks like people driving on wrong side of the road in many of the clips Video must have been reversed/mirrored somehow I know MN is close to Canada, but don't drive like the BritsbrbrOne additional pt The Great River Road starts at Lake Itasca at the start of the Mississippi River and follows the river to the end Just follow the sign that has a river boat on it Might be worth a trip to follow it all the way someday
