I would like to start a town like this, but away from cities and away from self-righteous indigenous people There would be many towns like this forming an archipelago It would require a lot of team work and a lot of DIY and basically full reliance on remote-work The town should control most of the surroundings so land must be way cheap, that means very scarce water and abrupt terrain

I have lived in this beautiful place in 1978 for 3 months and in 1980 for 9 months It had a lot less trees but many flowers My daughter will soon be going there for a visit She said I have to see it after all what you have told me En Gedi is different but just as beautiful brAlso the surrounding is amassing We had walks in the wadis and we swam in the natural pools It was great with all the young people from all over the world I have made many friends in En Gedi and had contact with Joske and Rachel for many years We met up a few times in Switzerland

seeing the Dead Sea, erm, dying Is it possible to divert the more saline water which is wasted in the process of turning sea water into drinking water, to the Dead Sea? I'm sure, over years, more and more treated saline water pumped back into the Mediterranean Sea won't be good for the nature and ecology of the sea, but it would be no difference for the Dead Sea

Thank you so much for this walk around Ein Gedi, I stayed there in December '19 - and hope to go back next spring God willing Beautiful botanical gardens and the walk into the desert with the waterfalls was stunning Also really enjoyed the visit to the old excavated synagogue near the main road

Amazing!!! I have been to the Ein Gedi waterfall and pools where a young David hid from the Wrath of King Sauland that was beautiful, but I had no idea until now that the real jewel was in the Kibbutz up the hillthey have turned a desert wasteland into an Oasistalk about "Making the Desert Bloom"! They have made the land a veritable "Garden of Eden!" lush and verdantThey "willed" it and turned the "dream" into reality What a miracle this land and its' people are!

Amazing video, but man you all up in people's back yards bruh 😂 I've been to various areas of Kuwait and I've noticed that it's mainly desert but the areas that have vegetation is only because they are unnaturally given water through sprinklers I didn't see any sprinklers in the video, I wonder if there's a natural aquifer in that area Very interesting
