You know it's nice seeing videos like this of my hometown Reminds me how great it really is It's just unfortunate how poor our economy is, cost of living might be the highest in the country and our taxes ranks pretty high as well Really sad how expensive life in NL is and how poor our economy and government is when it's truly a beautiful place with a ton of culture and great people

I was born and raised in Newfoundland, best place ever!!!! You could not get lost because all neighbour's knew you and where you lived I did not live in St John's but along the Atlantic Ocean!!! Enjoy your travels!!

cape spear is not the eastern most point in north america it is just the eastern most point in canadabrgreenland is in north america and most of it is significantly more east than the entire island of newfoundland

love that you started in my home town and toutons are definitely one of my favorites definitely recommend making them again my family makes homemade bread and uses the leftover dough to make them and all you gotta do is fry them , I also recommend trying them with butter and brown sugar as a more sweeter flavour

The biggest misconception is that Cape Spear is the most Easterly point in North America Id love to own that as a Proud Newfoundlander But Greenland is on the continent and it's more Easterly But the truth is that it's in Alaska Where the Eastern Hemisphere meets the Western hemisphere!

Reality check If you look it up , St John’s is ranked number eight of the oldest city in North America Also Greenland is also on the continent North America So cape spear is not the most easterly point Sorry folk

Yo! At 1:50! That’s my Dads place! I can’t believe you went to Fort Amherst not many people go there Who’s going to tell them they could’ve gotten the Iceberg beer at the corner store lol And you guys went to Topsail (Top-cell is how we pronounce it) but you should’ve gone to the Beach Bluff which is that HUGE cliff in the background You don’t have to hike all the way up there there’s a little path off a residential street But I have to say, the beach is the BEST sunset spot in the province In my opinionI was raised just up the road so I’m not biased or anything 😉
