So interesting to watch this as a south’s African I follow your channel and enjoy your work Thanks for coming to my country and looking around and sharing what you saw But I have to say, there are some things you said that I’d have to disagree with Primarily, that things have improved After 30 years of ANC rule, even prominent Africans are starting to say publicly that “that it was better under apartheid” Not that it was good, but that gives you some idea how bad things have gotten down here in sunny South Africa In my view the people are some of the kindest, most resourceful, determined and brilliant in the world, but alas our liberators turned out to be our parasites Come back and I’ll show you around Cape Town

Hillbrow is not the old part or Johannesburg It was developed in the 1960’s and 70’s The old part of town in Kensington and Berea Your guide should have taken you there

Equality issue is not something that is still "Fresh" from apartheid South Africa is run by a mafia goverment thats corrupt to the core and have done absolutely nothing for the people These places you visited was once beautiful places but been run down by locals and immagrants Suggest you look at older pics of these areas and compare I have to go work in CBD often, Park station, The Bridge, Small street, Elof sreet among some, these are places that 90 of South Africans refuse to go too In Soweto ypu also get great areas/houses and the opposite where you get shacks (and no the govt aint building houses for those) its not equality via racesimply the fact that out of 55million people, only 4 million are white Why are most black people still struggling? Because the "elite" promised everything for votes but delivered nothing so far

I used to walk up past Hillbrow it was always what you termed cosmopolitan, more relaxed, a mix of and poverty and drug dealer paradise, but with a good sprinkling of wealth, now its an absolute tip, no need to live like that, litter isint a sign of poverty its a sign of laziness

I find it absurd how FIFA would spend billions upon billions to construct a state-of-the-art, incredibly luxurious stadium for a single-use event, simply to be able to claim that they hosted a World Cup in that particular location It appears illogical and astonishing to me They did the same thing in Brazil and all these other third world countries

I landed in joburg on 16 feb and i got robbed on the same day what overwhelming welcome i got, 4 armed guys took everything , and its been 3 months and i got robbed 3 times so far, very dangerous city!

Skip Johannesburg, except if you want to go to Kruger Park to see the wildlife Otherwise, go to Cape Town , the most beautiful city in Africa, if not the world Does anyone have the courage to say that the illegal people from the rest of Africa have turned parts of South Africa, especially Johannesburg, into one crime ridden, humongous Slum, like so many parts of Africa Such a shame as SA was so much better than it’s become 😢☹️

People such as video author keep talking about the "legacy of apartheid" as to blame for some of the dark areas of South Africa like poverty, segregation, etc But apartheid has ended for over 20 years and Blacks have been in fully power in government, even discriminating against the White minority So there's really no excuse and it's not about apartheid It's simply that power shifted from one group to another, and things didn't get better People internationally thought that magically things would get better if Whites were removed from power That's didn't happen Instead now you have a mismanaged country that used to be first world and became third world And the segregation now and corruption is along the lines of class and wealth, not race There are poor Whites in South Africa and they are probably the worst living people in the country, there are documentaries on them on youtube
