Drive 50-60 miles West to Mineral Wells, Audie Murphy trained for WW2 at Camp Wolters & I was one of the first babies born at Beach Army Hospital I was also Fort Wolters where many of the pilots were trained to fly helicopters in Vietnam In Fort Worth, Carswell AFB was where the Roswell Aliens were taken after the UFO crashed

I live in Fort Worth and not once have I been inside Coopers Barbecue I've been to the Fort Worth Zoo many times My dad used to take my siblings and myself to the Zoo every Easter Jimmy Stewart used to be a supporter for the Fort Worth Zoo I believe I do like the Zoo I've seen the stockyards for sure and I have been inside Billy Bob's when the Soap Stars showed up,I waited along time there for autograph signing That was the year that " The Incredibles" was on video

I'm glad you enjoyed that bar-b-q I have lived in Texas since 1981 and Texas bar-b-q is some of the worst I've ever tasted I've eaten at a lot of bbq restaurants here and it was not fit for human consumption The sauce is watery and the beans are tasteless I think people who like Texas bbq have never eaten it in GA, MS, Chicago, Kansas City or Las Vegas Dickey's bar-b-q is one of the only Texas traditional bar-b-q restaurants that I would recommend because they have a delicious hot sauce, and they serve onions, pickles, jalapeno peppers, relish and banana peppers at no additional cost

I came from Norwalk Ca (small city in Los Angeles) to visit my sister and her fam who just recently moved down here I went to the StockYard (Awsome af) real cowboy vibes, also went to the FW zoo (super awsome) and went to Coopers BBQ well about Coopers it’s a nice location cool vibes, although the food was a bit more expensive than other spots I had 1beef rib and slice of Brisket it came out to almost $30 and it was heavily salted a lil too much for me but good experience that that same Pit Master was there so that was cool to see him (July 2020)

Don't go to Fort Worth They arrest people trying to work and allow rioters to walk free If you go, take loads of video so you'll have something to play in court when you sue after the guy who stabs you gets released with no charges

Grapevine - where DFW Airport is located has so many good things to do as well There’s several festivals on Main St throughout the year: GrapeFest, Main St Days, Christmas Festival And it’s absolutely worth checking out the Texas State Fair in the autumn located in Dallas Cowtown hosts the annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo in February, can’t miss that if you’re in town If you emjou flea markets, check out Trader’s Village in Arlington on the weekends, right by AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Park, and Six Flags It’s such a thriving metroplex that it’s impossible for me to list everything there is to do!
