You know what, can’t we just drop the unpronounceable words? Research shows that people are less willing to buy something if it contains words that are hard to pronounce out of fear that they may be referring to something dangerous For example; do you think people would buy water if we marketed it as Dihydrogen Monoxide? People have pushed to ban, regulate, or label that stuff as dangerous Some as a prank others out of genuine ignorance Legally we have to list those unpronounceable chemicals on the label, but we are not legally obligated to list them in a commercial Besides the chemical names are on the label, if customers have any concerns they could just Google the ingredients on their phones But if they hear these names on the commercial they will be less willing to buy it Just a few years ago Morton Salt profits nosedived because an ad said their product contained Sodium Chloride Yes that is just the chemical name of table salt but the general public didn’t know that They thought it was a dangerous chemical So let’s just stick to words that are easy for someone with an American accent to pronounce, ok
