For clarification:brIn most parts of Germany, an "Alster" is made with Beer and Fanta, while a "Radler" is made with Beer and SpritebrHe said "sorry, this is the Hamburger in me" because in Northern Germany, that distinction is not accurate In fact, you can buy beer cans there were one side has "Alster" written on it, the other "Radler"brbrTechnically the North gets it right, because it is atleast the legend that someone biking along the river Alster ("Radler" means "biker") and ordered that drink But if you ever come to Northrhyne-Westfalia, please respect the distinction :3

I mean, I've visited Germany three or four times in my teens and twenties for college and back when we could afford vacations in the summer Hardly ever saw anyone other than elderly Germans drinking beer and at most you would have a couple college kids drinking a Radler which I never understood German youth seemed to be the least interested in partying compared to the other places in Europe I've been to (never get blitzed in Moscow by the way) and if they did go out, it was usually to upscale clubs or just hanging out with friends at a park, which, I gotta say, German cities were highly walkable There actually weren't that many traditional German restaurants or beerhalls to dine and the ones there were frequented mostly by tourists There were a lot of trendy spots and foreign food joints which were excellent

Well Hate to be the one to tell you But unless you were born after the 1990's you weren't born in Germany either At least not modern Unified Germany You know The whole east and west thing?
