I am thinking of moving to Alabama in 18 months' time, I was thinking of Birmingham, as I have a few friends there!

I'm a New Yorker but I've always had an interest in Alabama I have to visit Alabama and Texas one day I've been to Knoxville Tennessee because i got family over there but that's as southern as I've gotten lol

Only reason it seems like Alabama has a high crime rate is because we actually arrest and prosecute people who break the laws unlike up north and out west I've lived in all those places and they don't come close to being as safe as Alabama Birmingham being the exception possibly

Save your money! Don't bother with most of the state Wilcox County is probably the most corrupted County in the state People there do NOT accept outsiders It's a pick and choose state They'll take you money and give you nothing in return Don't believe if you buy a house in Alabama you own it

Alabama is a great state in many ways and it's growing fast, but yet it's not in other areas of it It has a lot of work still to do Crime is a huge issue in the state and i can't believe THE GOVERNOR WHY SHE hasn't step in and tried to get a handle on this big problem like many governors across the US need to do, to officially correct it with law enforcement!! WTF!! But all 50 states have negatives and if someone from those states tell you they don't, they told you the biggest lie ever!! I'm orig from Alabama but live in Pennsylvania and i can tell you that Pa has a lot and i mean a lot of negatives, this is a bull crap state!! starting with the weather, high crooked taxes they run a good ole boy set up in the state, the bad government how they run the state a bad governor, more bad roads and bridges still need done, people can be cool or ok but so many of them have that nasty northeast mindset, or attitude so you really got weed out the good people here, better economy ,bad crooked politicians, a bad crooked good ole boy road maintenance dept call PENNDOT!! and the list goes on!! any state you move too , you take the good and the bad depending what you wanna deal with

Nice video these facts are pretty spot on Alabama is one of those places that have been plagued with racism and stereotyped for that over the years and being too country but in overall I enjoy the southern hospitality and long as u avoid certain areas which are over run with criminal activity or racism it's actually not a bad place to live and is one of the better states among southern states but it's not perfect as with all states but I wouldnt chose any other place to live #RTR

I was born in Alabama I have lived in Alabama, Texas, Florida, Mississippi and Virginia and a total of 3 other Continents (Africa, Europe and the Middle East) I ended up back in my hometown in Alabama and built a house in the middle of a 1000 Acre Wilderness Area My neighborhood consists of 18 houses all on 2-3 Acre Estates In this area there are only about 10 other houses in the 1000 Acres I love my StateRolllll Tide!!
