While I can't complain about the beauty of the towns mentioned in the video, there are some others that surpass many of these I would argue that Alesund, Flam and Geiranger in Norway, Lauterbrunnen and Zermatt in Switzerland as well as the old towns of Annecy and Avignon, France and Salzburg, Austria belong on this list Actually, it is useless to limit this list to 15 when 25 would be a better number

An honorable mention should be Carcassonne, France, the only remaining intact, fortified and walled in Medieval city there that survived the unification of France by Louis IV It had been an independent Duchy but surrendered to the Sun King rather than be destroyed It's a very charming little city where people still live and is also a world heritage site

When you called Colmar a village, I had to laugh: it has been a free imperial city since 1226 and was already mentioned as a city by Charlemagne' son in 823! But thank you very much for including it in the 15 most gorgeous Euroepan fairytale town :-)

Was lucky enough to go to two of these places on my first two trips to Europe from the US in 2019: Positano and Ghent! Still two of the most beautiful places I've been in my life! Loved everywhere I went in Germany, too! Can't wait to go back!
