I grew up in a small village far off from the 'big land' and the only shop there never had a sufficient supply of pads, so we had to use old rags on top of the pads and mainly changed those rather than the pads, so one pad could last for the whole day Budgetsaving, more ecofriendly and still protected from leaks Now i don't have problems getting the pads but i still follow this habit in the sake of nature

I have a friend who goes to Uganda a couple of times a year & while there buys & provides bras & washable, reuseable sanitary products for girls & teachers in a boarding school for this exact reason People just can't afford these basic needs It's sooo wrong, but I'm grateful that they have my friend & this awesome young woman looking out for them
