I'm retiring to Thailand in a year, and I considered Phuket, but I decided against it and thebrother more "tourist towns" and settled on Korat, which gets tourists but it's not a "partybrtown" and the weather is better there, so that works for me I can easily travel to Phuketbror other places if/when I want a different experience

I miss Phuket a lot I was based in Singapore and when I needed a break I would jump on a flight friday lunchtime and be on the beach at 6pm Normally I would stay in Karon or Kata beach You advice is solid great work I would also see the local tailor and get them to make 5 copies of my favourite shirt and collect them on my way to the airport Super cheap, fast and done well
