It's sad to see that we have such beautiful tourist locations here in Nigeria, but yet the Government doesn't maintain it I mean look at a whole presidential lodge Looking like one village cabin Just imagine if the ranch was fully functional and well maintained Thank you Tayo for bringing this to light, and showing us the potential of this beautiful place

I went there for the first and only time June of 2016, all the way from Lagos during an annual work leave And yes, parts of it were already not in full operation But this?? brI remember looking forward to a ride in the cable cars but was told they only functioned during Christmas I also went to that grotto/mini-fall That canopy walk gave me a heart attack that daybrThe views in the ranch are probably the most magnificent you can find anywhere in the entire country This is sad

I remember growing up in Cross River during Donald Dukes time It was a beautiful beautiful place After he left the leaders on seat turned in the other direction Cross River is soo beautiful, so much potential but she's been dealt a tough hand when it come to leadership

I have seen this type of luxury resort fail before I did a study many years ago about new towns for the rich that had this same problem The problem is that when you design an area for the rich you must also include an adjacent complete living area for the middle class that will service the resort That mean apartment bldgs or town homes, schools, shopping , hospital, public transportation etc These adjacent areas must be within one hour or it will be hard to keep a continuous service staff Tayo is correct- this should be a private enterprise not government funded

I was in Obudu in 2012 I remember paying 50 Naira per person to make use of the cable cars It was a really beautiful experience watching this breaks my heart
