Came across your channel while planning a year end trip to London Fantastic content! brFor stay, I think zone 3 is about perfectly placed, not too far out and easy on the wallet as well Comment from : impsam21 |
But you have to pay 7 pounds for the Oyster card and that is a FEE and does not include any ride fees So how is it cheaper? Comment from : Theresa Southern |

I always take the Elizabeth line Although I just come from Schiphol The Netherlands, I am always flying in with the first flight So I am a bit tired I like to relax and do easy on Besides that, I love the Tube It is so simple to use I have never flown into Gatwick or one of the other airports, except 1 time to City airport And that is so easy to go to the centre And your 3rd tip is Gold I went to Vienna last year and I am interested in Music and (Musical) history, especially about Mozart So I visited operas and concerts, the Mozart house, 1 museum and the capuciner gruft brIn London I would never go to the London eye or a musical (that is not my kind of music) but the British Museum etc Besides that, I have visited London many many times It is a great city just to walk I love walking cities and nature, and walking to through the many parks, from Buckingham via Horse guards to Westminster or even if you are really into it to St Pauls (that is a long walk) and further to Tower bridge However dig also a bit deeper In London as in Other cities there are so many lovely things to do outside the normal touristy things A visit to a beautifull city like London should prepared with video's like yours, but also with common sense With this preperation I ones stayed in Lissabon and took the train out of the city on a 45 minutes ride to visit beautifull places (Sintra) and go with a (touristy) tram to the coast Most people who visit my country stick with Amsterdam But within 30 to 60 minutes of that city there are so much more interesting things to seebrbrLondon (as Rome) is a class apart It is almost a museumlike city, so much to do for all ages in the city Just be prepared I love your video's btw Comment from : Patrick |
Thank you so much!! Going to London for the first time at the end of the month and your videos are super helpful! I'd give you a hug if I could LOL Comment from : James Garman |
Hi I would like to add on number 2 From my research, it seems that while an oyster card is better than a daily travel card per day, the weekly travel card is better than an oyster card per week Is that correct? A weekly travel card costs 4070 which is 580 per day only Comment from : Sloop |
I like the IRAN flags behind you ;) Comment from : HobbyBox604 |
QUESTION When using contactless (apple pay tap) will the system know to give me unlimited after I reach the weekly amount for I know it'll give you the daily but what about the weekly I hope you understand my question Jess Love your vids, Ben in Miami Comment from : Fix & Travels |

Coming back from our trip to England, I'm realizing that London is a really difficult town to get a handle on, despite the fact it has a river running through it The streets are narrow, jink right and left, and all those streets are lined with 5-to8-story buildings, which means you can't orient to the horizon or some large landmark It's huge, the distances within the city are great, and there are just bthrongs/b of people, especially around the train stations I think the best strategy might be to take the Underground and pop up in different parts We took one of the hop-on busses, but it was not a coherent experience (because of the narrow building-lined streets) and the official stops were a bit of a hike to the nearby attractions We were in a nice small hotel near Paddington and got to know our neighborhood pretty well, and I'm glad for that Comment from : notapilot1 |

As a British person living abroad who these days visits the UK as a tourist, I think the Oyster card is one of the worst concepts for paying for public transport A card that needs to be topped up is so old fashioned These days I don’t need a wallet in my pocket, just my phone to buy anything anywhere at least in Norway Comment from : alasdair harries |
