Went to an interview with Nielson - was dressed exactly like the hiring manager White shirt, blackbrtie, black slacks, black socks and black shoes I was offered the job but after consideration decided to stay where I was I used the written offer to leverage a raise as well

Great reminders - professionalism (arriving on time, dress, body language) is table stakes One thing I'd add is that while it's smart to give oneself extra time to get to the location in case of traffic, candidates might not want to walk into the building more than 10 minutes early Sometimes that can create stress for the hiring manager

the video is good but my opinion is that when they ask u to introduce yourself just tell them name and hobbies all the rest should be in the rest of the interview otherwise is seems like u are repeating yourself with every question

I was actually warned time and time again by many corporate recruiters why arriving too early for an interview is unprofessional and reeks of desperation It puts un-needed pressure on the interviewer to start the interview earlier than the scheduled time because they will feel guilty for having you sit and wait in the reception area because YOU chose to show up 20 minutes early Show up no more than 10 minutes prior to an interview to get checked in through the security desk and such, but never show up so early that you end up having to hang out in their reception area while the interviewer is probably in the process of interviewing another candidate while you wait

your not gonna pass it tbh- they already hired who they wanted and you are just the 3rd person HR is now outsource out of stte home offices out of state- so they say you are no qualified after seeing your resume, I was told I wsa qualified for this one job HR outsourced sayig i wasnt qualified with 20 years in management and both jobs over 10 years each- but on tour of the area they had an 18 year old pink haired tatted up girl with more piercings in her face than a car junk yard magnet can pick up but at 50 years old I WASNT QUALIFIED- they need work and help - JUST NOT YOU
