My dad used to have a 2002 Grand Cherokee Limited when I was 10 years old, and it had one of the most comfortable seats of ANY car I had ever sat inbrbrThey were EXTREMELY plush & comfortable, and the moment I sat down on them for the first time while we were picking it up back in July 2010, I was in heaven - it felt like a giant sofa on wheels 😍👌

I just bought a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 for $800 all it needs are head gaskets It has a great exterior and great interior I know I'll be spending approx $800-$1,200 to have it repaired so once I have it running 100 it's safe to say that I purchased a 99' JGC for about $2K Not bad I hope I made a wise choice for purchasing a vehicle with blown head gaskets

My dad has a Cherokee '99, had it since i was 5 (14 right now) He bought it in '01 Its a daily driver still running strong Too bad he's gonna sell it Has alot of memories too :'( but yeah these things run strong meanwhile my mom replaces her oil whenever she can (around 4000-6000 miles) on her Malibu '12 -____-

@VintageSoundsNumber1 "crap cars" that's definitely wrong ha, but are entitled to their own opinion My father has a 2001 WJ with the 57L V8 he also has a 1979 cj-5, I have a 2004 WJ with the 40 I6 , little sister has a ZJ with a 40 I6 as well grown up with Jeeps my entire life :) all are in great running shape, but EVERY vehicle no matter the BRAND/MAKE will all require labor, maintenance, up keep and will have to replace parts time to time, nothing lasts forever stock

@PHARIS88 YeahI have to agree about MercedesThey have a reputation to be really expensive when it comes to fix it (like most German cars in general : Audis, BMWs,VolksWagensetc) My friends, however, told me that Grand Cherokees are crap cars; no quality anywhereBut I don't know what to think !

@VintageSoundsNumber1 Depends on the vehicle they are in for the MPG and the way the driver drives I have a 2004 Grand Cherokee with the 40 I6 and that motor has 165K miles on it right now and it runs like a champ, my dad has a CJ-5 and that motor has about 260K miles and that thing is running strong as well The I6 is a HIGHLY reliable and strong motor Also if anything breaks it's a cheap fix, unlike Mercedes

There's nothing more awesome -to me anyways- than a beige interior, with leather seats it's kind of more relaxing, from a visual point of view; grey is so sad ! (only my opinion) As I finish my studies and have enough money, I'll get one of these; I don't care about the 2005, 2011 and all the versions that may come out later The only thing that is negative about these is the reliability of the engines they were equiped with (from what I've heard anyways)

we have the same one almost just a little differant shade in the paint and for the 4x4 we have the 4 part time and 4 full time and ofcorse 2x4 and ours has about a 100 more miles

Although the limiteds are nicer the grill on the 1999 laredos look alot better I think they fixed that in like 2003 though My brother bought a 1999 laredo but it had every option on it including the leathers, infinity gould and dual power seats Very strange, it was practically an unlimited but in laredo trim

@kendrickevans301 Thanks I recently purchased a 2004 Grand Cherokee Overland with the 47L HO I love to drive it When you get on it, the combination of the whine of the engine and rumble of the exhaust is heavenly music It's a powerful, efficient, and reliable engine Currently I get 148 MPG Not bad for an older V8 It has so much power on the top end, yet so much torque too Plan to add a Flowmaster next week

@pauli4975 I've been a gear head for a long time have my own shop, and the 59 motor made by chrysler (dodge,chysler,and jeep) period is very big obviously, but lacked in power too unfortunetly They replaced it with the 57 litler HEMI V8 in 2004, Bigger isn't always better But I do like that engine thow, don't get me wrong But the 47 liter V8 has 25 more horsepower than the 59
