What's with the proliferation of bubble tea outlets in the Old Town In one tiny area alone, I counted 7 outlets in a small area of the Old Town Is this going to be a future trdelnik Bubble tea, traditional Czech drink 🤐 Not to mention, the globalisation of the food scene in Prague central where just 7 years ago, you could easily find online, eateries serving Czech food Now, you have to look much harder as the area is swamped with Indian, Viet, Korean, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Italian Brazilian, US food chain etc eateries

There is a really good eatery across, and just down the street from the Smichov metro station It ain't fancy, there is no seating They serve the best meatloaf, with a salted bun, and mustard There are other meat options as well

I'm traveling to Prague in the next few months and will definitely try Las Adelitas While I love trying the traditional local cuisine when I travel, I also like to see other countries/regions takes on international cuisine The best Chinese food I've ever had was in Ireland, the best Italian was in Canada(with Poland as a close second), my favorite meal in Paris was a traditional English breakfast fry up, and the best German meal I've had was in Mesa, Arizona

I read ur book & it was very helpful getting around PragueI have been in Prague number of times & loves the food I never drink beer in my life but I happen to love Czech beer The only negative experienced I had was in that area bottom of Wenceslas Square where I was gonna go inside that Italian restaurant but this ginormous round face waiter came out & being abusive in racial manner He was a massive man & picking on little woman like me his mother must be so proud I guess he was not even Czech & not bless with good looks either Me & my son walked away & did not go inside the restaurantI was shaken up a bit but it doesn’t put me off going to Prague I met a lot of lovely locals

Just one thing that was not properly specified: the exemplified dishes are "cheap" because they belong to the daily menu So limited offer only at lunch on working days The rest of the menu has higher prices

“Las Adelitas” is actually really good, but it also always full and you need reservations in advance, especially in the eveningsbrbrThere is one more Mexican in the city centre, 10 minutes walk from Las Adelitas, called Tek’ila Tek’ila , which is also super great, and has amazing margarita and tequila cocktails list

I have been trying to find dishes listed on that third menu for years here in Belgium Even though I found some places that do offer the real deal and not just myopic crunchy tacos, none offer things like 'mole con pollo' or 'sopa azteca' (Aztec/ tortilla soup) on a regular basis You have no idea how jealous I am about that Mexican restaurant Visited Prague in 2019, all the more reason to revisit my Mexican girlfriend ;-)

If you paid 45 euros for a frozen Dr Oetker pizza, you paid way too much Have patience and wait until it goes on sale for 2 euros at Makro (and they go on sale quite often at Makro) or 25 Euros when they go on sale in Tesco (and they go on sale there quite often as well) "doctor" it up by adding mozzarella, mushrooms, bacon, ham, whateverand you get a pretty good pizza for the price
