I worked at the airport for 25 years in Brisbane You a familiar with this airport Airplane go in to air with 9 passengers They still making money On many occasions we have one passenger coming from Perth to Brisbane ✈

I flew Ashgabat-Mary and back few times (some 4 years back), the domestic airport is even more fun The international airport is honestly boring But an interesting experience, the immigrations are even more interesting than in Kuwait

I’m really curious, how does Turkmenistan have the money to maintain their fleet and the airport hotel and the entire airport itself if they don’t have any tourists? I mean even if they did have the money how they make it profitable? I mean the hotel had AC and A lot of lights turned on and only josh was staying in the entire hotel

You are quite away of your surroundings They open airports on certain days in countries which does not have much travel You caught that airport on a downtime It is cheaper to run all jets on the same schedule than to run Empty flights daily Hopefully you can catch them when you leave on a working day That's my fascist dicktater story and I'm sticking to it

Maybe the plane is in such great nick because hardly anyone flies on it! Hahahaha Locked in the hotel ! Starting to look like an episode from The Twilight Zone Josh Or slipping into a potential horror movie, everything locked and painted white Oh lord, bizarre's the word But it seems a great place Some nice paintings in the hotel and the women's uniforms are classy Airport architecture is wild tooI read that in Ashgabat, buildings take on an element of what they are used for Sooo, The Development Bank is topped by a giant coin, the Ministry of Health is shaped like a stylized caduceus and the Dental Hospital is shaped like a molar!!!!!!!!!! That is unique and awesome That's why the airport looks like a giant falcon is on the roof Hehe There's taste in Turkmenistan and the world doesn't know it You needed a couple of good books for flights with no entertainment set up Books, the ultimate entertainment that won't crash out on you!Hmm, did you say you spent a long time in Australia? Yeah, can hear it in your accent and your good humour ( Fellow? Aussie here :))

Surreal journey, but the airport looks great and the people were lovely What made me laugh out loud was at the 2655 min mark is the appearance of my country's former (much discredited) Prime Minister (Bertie Ahern) appearing on the hotel's tv channel adds to the artificiality of the whole scene!

Our family was on an almost empty Swiss Air in 1975 from Zurich to Basel within Switzerland and in 1982 I was on a brand new Aer Lingus 747 with only 45 passengers on board and even for those days my airfare was really cheap at £4800 return from Dublin to Madrid The reason it was empty is because it was going to Madrid during the World Cup to bring Irish people back home

Great video, that was surreal! - I've never flown a 777 so possibly its just a quiet cabin, but it was interesting to hear that the engines sounded like they were at a fairly low power setting for take off to London! obviously with 300 empty seats and missing 300 peoples-worth of bags it will be very light!

Love your videos,when flyting round the world does not seem perfect because of goverment etc so not to blame anyone but goverment not people that is what they are being served so to watch you I think about corruption mis handling money etc and if airline not up to scratch should take it because of how country is run and by whom so I would expect certain thing not to be up to condition of western standard anywaytake it on the chin and go with it just the way it iscan't compare every airline in every country to be the same due to economics and politics and corruption

I think the country wants people to think they are rich or want a certain kind of luxury associated with their country, so they try and make people think it’s better than it is!
