Pointing with forefinger is normal in Malaysia Pointing with thumb is usually done with sultans and king or with overly respected figurebrbrAnd it is use only to point a near distance object example like ushering VIPs to a seating or showing them the way to a rostrumbrOther than that using forefinger to show thing in general are acceptable and normal

I really wish they weren’t poisoning the food supply with glyphosate and other chemicals in the US This is why so many people can not eat wheat here in America but they can eat it when they leave America We have made illness waaaaay too profitable here so ofc they are going to have incentives to create more illness It’s very perverse

Malaysians dress more conservatively? I think ur referring to the malay race in particular Many chinese ladies do wear mini skirt and stuff Often But the funniest part is about the crime rate being low Seriously, most malaysian will laugh when they hear u say that😂 The theft or rob case is very common here which is why we install grills at our door and windows They have confidence in it because they know u don't hv a gun to defend yourself 😂 and the police here are lazy and corrupted they usually don't care about any of it
Comment from : Hank Ng

You had me until you said that you don't have to worry about being shot in a grocery store Well, I live in the United States, and I do not have to worry about being shot in a grocery store either Every country has a murder rate, and it doesn't make a difference where the murder is committed or what implement is used to commit the murder Murder is murder Per the FBI, most murders are committed by hands and feet So, maybe you should just be worried about being around people in general no matter where you are

Hi Ryan I have been a subscriber for a long time You said something in this video where I said I HAVE to ask Ryan!brbrSo many of the foods in youtube videos are described as spicy (as in chiles hot spicy) but I can't tolerate hot spices so I'm afraid when I visit Malaysia and Indonesia I won't be able to experience certain foodsbrbrYou said you too didn't like spicy food at first but now you do Can you tell me your secret, as to how you did that?brbrAlso, when you say you didn't like spicy food, do you mean you couldn't tolerate it or you didn't like the taste?brbrIn my 20's I'd always have this spicy Szechuan Garlic Shrimp dish that I loved every time I'd be in the West Village in NYC After many years, I was eating it one time and realized the hotness was overpowering all the other flavors and it was numbing my taste buds, and from that day on I never ate this againbrbrAlso, my nose runs when I eat spicy food, so it's embarrassing for me to keep clearing my nose! Does or did that happen to you?
Comment from : Bob NJ

As a Malaysiani wanted to say that, if there's an unfriendly Malaysian or someone who's kinda awkward, they're probably just shy For example, Malaysian like me I have seen exchange students at my university, and i wanted to befriend them, but I'm just too shy 😭 I hope they don't think that I'm not friendly Anyway, you guys and other foreigner are welcome to stay as long as you want !
Comment from : Nur Alyaa Asri

Malay women do dresses conservatively although there are some Malay women who doesnt dresses conservatively And the Chinese & Indians (Both making up 30 of the populations) here regularly wears sleeveless & short pants/skirts So I kinda disagree with u when u say u wont see women wearing cloths that reveals their shoulders or short pants Maybe the locals here dont dress as revealing as in the west, but its not that strict
