Thank you for sharing your story In July 2021, at age 64, I was diagnosed with PCNS Diffuse Large B Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma After a biopsy to remove the tumor from my brain, I underwent seven months of treatment, high dose chemotherapy and an ASCT (autologuous stem cell transplant) I was plagued with anxiety and fear, nausea and loss of appetite My doctors prescribed medicine (including opiates) to combat the side effects and mental distress but they were largely ineffective A friend gave me two 'joints' when I was at home, resting between chemo sessions My anxiety disappeared and my other symptoms were greatly alleviated Cannabis truly was an effective medicine for me as I battled cancer I'm now nearly one year post ASCT and I'm disease free Comment from : Cactus Cowboy |
