Hello From the western cape I think I should come in defence of those cats and how game rangers who have no real experience with the intelligence and situational awareness these predators possessbrbrthe fact is that they are extremely fine tuned to spotting eyes if you have never felt the calculating stare straight at your upper nose when walking close by a large vehicle and one with few people They do not see the vehicle as one living thing And they are smart enough to know that the green open top land rover is tantamount to having some sardines but no can opener brbrI like your show! You shoulve come to Hermanus and de Kelders caves which is very lovely brI can hear southern whales blowing every few minutes as i am typing this Walker bay has a few this year and lots of white sharks so I doubt the gang of killer whale thugs we get sometimes is close this season They literally eat anything - whales, sharks, australians, or any other trashbrbrg'bey

Ah man! This video really tugs at the heart strings! I’m a South African amateur wildlife photographer now living in Australia The single, incomparable, thing I miss most is the incredible wildlife experiences you can have there It’s impossible to describe the feeling of being in amongst it, and even very difficult to capture the greatness of the experience on film We used to get to the Kruger 3x a year, now it’s a few precious days every couple years Seeing, and capturing good leopard shots, is one of the biggest challenges in wildlife photography: especially in the national park, for the reasons you mentioned When you do, though… We were lucky enough to stay at Londolozi on one trip, and honestly it is a memory that will stay with me forever - the most epic experience and something I want to do again, although it is incredibly expensive Probably the key thing to know is that, whether you self- drive in the Kruger, or stay somewhere life-changing like Londolozi, you are still in the same Park and have every chance at seeing the same wildlife Admittedly, the private reserves have the trackers, ability to drive “after hours” and familiarity with the environment which can’t be beaten
