If you are going to be a medical tourist, (you plan to pay to have surgery abroad) you have to make sure that you have the right kind of health and travel insurance You can't assume that regular travel health insurance will cover you if you have surgery, especially if something goes wrong because of the surgery

Why do people book their online and onsite surgery through companies like ours Canada is only #62 globally for surgeon capability per 10k patients, lagging El salvador at #57 and Cuba at #1 (worldbank) The issue is complete lack of price transparency, high labour costs, and excessive third party fees and consulting This all adds to excessive wait times, and increasing costs Canadians deserve more options available

im contemplating this option, maybe not for surgeries but for things like dermatology, ive lost my dermatologist twice, once cuz she decided to move and the second one cuz she passed away, after the first time i had to wait forever to get another one, and this time my family doctor didnt want to refer me to another one as apparently there is a bunch of people waiting to see one to deal with skin cancerso i am left with my doctors advice, which its good but she isnt as good as a trained dermatologist would be, everybody knows if there are private clinics in canada? im guessing they must be real expensive if some are choosing to go abroad
