The hard truth is the fact that the Canadian government is opened the floodgates for immigration which is taxing every aspect of Canadian life, no matter what city you live in Vancouver, British Columbia is actually the most desirable place to live in Canada but is unaffordable for most, buying or renting, just like Toronto Your 'reality' is not the same for everyone It is merely your opinion based on your personal perspective and negative experience

I grew up in Nova Scotia, and another negative factor is racism and intolerance towards Newcomers In Toronto, you would not have to worry about this much, but NS is home to real life trailer park boys Atlantic Canada is Canada's South or Appalachia; and can be a little backward brbrBut if there is special job placement programs for international students and newcomers to NS in general -- that is like lighting a match to gas tank especially since locals and regular students have a hard time getting work in a province known for its unemployment

I have lived in NS all my life You did a great job on this video but one of the biggest concerns in NS in 2023 is the lack of housing and rentals So mamy people cannot find housing and many are facing homelessness The cost of renting and buying has skyrocketed I know people looking for over a year for a rental and still have no place and both work full time They say within a half hour of a place being listed, the landlord is flooded with requests to view and its unusual to even get a viewing During the pandemic many people flooded into NS and it is partly the reason we have such a severe housing crisis I see news articles of international students struggling trying to find housing Hopefully solutions will be found soon
