I will be turning 73 this year Where I now live in a retirement community, folk are really surprised that I dress with care (not fancy, but smart casual) and wear light but full make up I still work in my craft as a professional calligrapher, in order to pay my rent I never know when a new client may want a meeting with me, so it is better to get up, dress well and make up - like you, I have pale eyebrows, and have had to pencil them in all of my adult life I use a skinny brow pencil by L'Oreal, which has just the perfect shade that is not too dark against my greying hair I am blessed with thick and long eyelashes, but they are pale, too - again, L'Oreal has a mascara that is not too costly, and colours and curls my lashes with one application, and zero clumps! I believe in accentuating one's good features - I am way past being decorative, but I feel better when I present myself to my best ability I also still sing at events!!! That is something in our family too is that we have such light eyebrows It is really hard to figure out how to do it where they look nice and natural I was telling my mom about the microblading and I was going to check into it but they said if you're over 50 don't do it is that true? I have tried over the years to use different products to make my eyebrows show up and I'm just not good at it I have a sibling that has beautiful brown eyebrows they're just perfectly shaped I think that's no fair just kidding I love what you're sharing and it makes someone feel good I had never heard about microblading either I learned so much from the both of you You are sharing some really good tips When you mentioned thickness of hair that's the one thing when my hair was all one length I had enough hair for two people and my daughter was blessed with really thick hair as well We actually have to have our hair and layers to do anything because it's so thick and it's flat I remember years ago when they used to do perms they had to do two perms It is crazy how people's hair can be so different But you both are so beautiful! I have been on the fence with micro blading but your results are encouraging Might go and get them done I used the brow and lash serums They make a big difference to your natural lashes and brows and add a monthly dye to them You hardly need make up I just use concealer now Blend it out well and the rest of my skin is good and doesn’t need a full face Bronzer and blush always perk up a face Lip colour is a transformer but it does wear off Comment from : stargazerbird

You are a lifesaver with the spray advice I’ve been searching for years for a way to camouflage my wonky part at the back of my head I’ve tried powders, but that was terrible I kept thinking there had to be a spray or something… I’m excited to try this! I have super thin/fine/dark curly hair I’d never want to wear my hair down because of it! I have combo brows and love them, but holy ow!! We ordered an all form couch that I LOVED Sad story, had to return it We ordered the leather version but the top layer of letter would just rub right off the arms and edges The leather was not durable at all They are a great company and they were wonderful with the return process but I was so sad We still don’t have a couch we like I want that couch! This one was SO fun! Thanks! Most of the micro blading I’ve seen is so over-the-top, unnatural, but having sparse brows myself as I get older, you two have made me want to try it!!! Even my kids would ask me if I’m tired when I had no make-up on, and that was 30 yrs ago, so I NEVER leave the house without makeup! I am super low maintenance No nails - I have dairy goats, so there's no point My hubby doesn't like make-up, so I only wear it for church and special occasions No tatts, no permanent face things, no extensions But I DO die my hair I use $9 boxed dye from the store (some of them are amazing!) I started dying when I was out on my 40th birthday and THEY OFFERED ME THE SENIOR DISCOUNT! ACK! Now I'm 58 and could probably own the "silver" I've earned But the hubby often tells me how much he likes my youthful hair So I'll keep it for now BTW, that root spray is a REAL life saver! I'm 61 A few months back I purchased a tube of Eye Envy lash and brow serum on the advice of my esthetician because my eyelashes were disappearing I was skeptical and it was expensive ($70 for a tube) but I decided to give it a try It took a month or more to start noticing a difference, but it really has made my eyelashes grow longer and thicker Huge difference I did not use it on my brows, but apparently it works for thin brows too I get my eyebrows dyed every month or so and have been pleased with the results I'm lucky to have an excellent esthetician who I've been going to for 20 years Comment from : Jody Nuttall

I agree with Diana that there's usually not time to let your nail polish dry with little ones around I tried Color Street stick on nail polish recently and was very impressed!
