Koreans place too much emphasis on physical appearance, material things, wealth and status It goes to show that deep down, they are an insecure lot They feel the need to constantly prove to others how good and successful they are Their confidence come from how well they have “prepped” themselves to fit into the various social standings and expectations of other people That’s sad When I toured Korea last year, I could feel that kind of vibes from them, even just by walking on the streets and observing their behaviours
