This was a great and honest review With that said, I have been there three times and have enjoyed the experience I really have to say that in general, most of the resorts over the Caribbean in the latin speaking countries, have horrible food That is why I bring my hot sauce to drown it out For the price, it has value though I was thinking of going to the Hard Rock but the price point was way out of my range I am coming again to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary I hope things change with the food, but most likely it wont Maybe a note to the hotel staff itself may help? Who knows Anyways, thank you again for the review

This video didn't show even half of the Barcelo Palace property, restaurants, rooms, places, etc The resort has more than 7 o 8 room types, even a family type rooms You didn't show the Family area with the 2 water parks The food is not that bad as you say The hotel is nice an i always have had a great time with my family when i visited

We stayed there with our grandchildren They have an amazing kids water park, the pool has areas for kids to swim They have a buffet area for kids My husband and I golfed almost everyday We had a great time

Yes their check in is horrible They need a better system and more desk workers Spent more than an hour waiting to check in…The sea weed is seasonal I was there in May there were none plus they had workers cleaning any trace… You forgot the best part of the shuttle Trains lol Overall is the best bang for your bucks hotel in Punta cana

I’m going there in July I rather the buffet foods I don’t do beach water pass my knee so that’s cool My neighbors will definitely be complaining about the noise coming from me and my wife and our girlfriend Outside noise doesn’t bother me I can’t wait!!

I was there from 6/14 to 6/21 I do agree that the food is not the greatest but you can always find something to eat I preferred the buffet over the restaurant also My steak at the buffet was better than the one in the steak house and the seafood spot should officially close down The beach was flawless, zero seaweed the week I was there The ground are massive and very well maintained All in all, I had a great time and will definitely go back

We've been there, just 12 days ago as a Family with 3 kids for 13 days The food was not delicious and the Sevice was disapointing It used to be better, 5 Years ago but not anymore The Beach was perfect Crystal Clear, zero seaweed and shallow, with no waves So Barcelo has got a 5 Star Beach The Rooms, the Service and the Food is a straight 4

I stayed at the Hard Rock and it was disappointing The food was mediocre, at best and for obvious reasons they would only put 2-3 bartenders at the most popular pool Getting a drink took 35 minutes at best and sometimes longer I'm pretty sure Ill never be back One of the other things I disliked was the constant pressure to sell you a time share I'm a realtor so they tried once and I never saw the guy again But that being said I saw a bunch of people being pressured at breakfast and lunch being given a sales pitch The brHard Rock left a bunch to be desired

I stayed on the adult only side and got checked-in in 10 minutes They do not let kids on that side or in the pool As an American, the food is bad, but the restaurant food is a lil better than the buffet

I loved the resort The beach was seaweed free when I was there, but I have to agree with the food statements The buffet was better than the restaurants and I went to them all I would definitely go back, but they have to step it up with their restaurants! Gym is undersized but the room was amazing, spacious and very clean!!

We just got back from there… the beach was beautiful while we were there ( much better than when I went in December a few years ago) No seaweed and very clear I’ve been to a ton of beaches in the Caribbean so I’m very picky I agree, the food and even the drinks aren’t great I always found something to eat though Oddly, I found the food better on Carnival cruises 😅 We did really enjoy our stay, but I tend to make the best of any situation Booked excursions etc I’d go back since it is a good value

Anyways we went instead to majestic elegance costa mujeres…It was pretty good but TRS Coral is better and if you have $$$$ more money Atelier playa Mujeres is the best we have been too at Cosca Mujeres

Ok so the real question: Is the Hard Rock still the #1 resort in PUC? Since you mentioned in the beginning that it overtook HR as most popular I get that HRH is more expensive, but is it worth the extra $$? Based on this review I'm feeling like I'd rather go back to HR than to go here even though its somewhere I haven't been before and is cheaper
