Growing up in Nebraska, the finger wave was called the farmer's wave Moved away in 1980, I miss it What a beautiful state And great history Also, don't miss the Mormon Trail Center at the Winters Quarters in Florence (North Omaha) There is a lot of pioneer history there Over 600 Mormons perished during that terrible winter

There are many amazing places to see in the northern part of the state as well, away from I80 Some beautiful areas off the radar are Ft Robinson, Chadron State Park, Valentine, the National scenic Niobrara River, and the many sandy beaches at lakes in Nebraska Some of my best summer memories are of boating, water-skiing, fishing, and swimming there

People In Nebraska In Lincoln are helpful and almost everyone is chill some people can get really angry in Lincoln if you drive terrible downtown it's not a surprise and the Huskers Football Gets REALLY Competieve

My kids were shocked when I told them Nebraska is known as the beef state Having the 2nd most cattle in overall of the 50 states by just number of cows Nebraska has the most cattle per square mile of the 50 states There are 3x as many cows as there are people in Nebraska

Definitely get off of I-80 to see the best of Nebraska We do get all 4 seasons here, sometimes in the same week I find the Sandhills very beautiful and unique Incredibly dark skiesI strongly recommend getting away from the lights and looking up! Corn-fed beef has much a better flavor than grass-fed beef Nebraska people are VERY friendly and helpful, just be polite brbrThanks for the video!

I've driven my cycle all across the US Although I'm NOT from Nebraskaone of my favorite places (in the entire country) to ride are in the Sand Hills that stretch for 100's of miles in Central/Northwest Nebraska (Highway 2) It's absolutely beautiful!! Massive rolling hills, bluffs/canyons, wildlife, no traffic (can go long distances without passing another vehicle), and I love the small cowboy type towns It's like stepping back in-time!! Honestly, one of the best kept secrets in the USshhhhhhh, don't tell anyone!!

I was in Nebraska in September of 2021 and stopped in Scottsbluff I am an avid hiker and spent about 3 hours hiking there and at the end stopped in the visitor's center The volunteer ranger was very nice and I asked him if he knew of any places to eat and one of the places he mentioned was a Runza in town I ended up eating at another place that he recommended and now can kick myself for not trying out Runza

You forgot the natural history museum in Lincoln I don't remember the official name, but it's widely known as Elephant Hall, because of the mammoth skeletons I want to say "Morris Hall", but that doesn't sound right It's on the UNL campus, just a few blocks from Memorial Stadium
