Having spent much time there, I say it's a beautiful country that has everything a person could want Dramatic landscapes, scenic towns, villages and beaches, a long history (an archeologists dream), and the most hospitable people you can meet anywhere But unfortunately its also a land of contrasts Sadly there is major corruption, poverty, injustice, pollution, and division If the all the latter can be overcome, Lebanon would a paradise on earth

I visited Lebanon in 2019 during the protests and was blown away The people were curious, but in a good way rather than an intrusive way like in many places People were extremely generous and were living each day as a celebration to life despite all the hardships that are cursing the country Food and nature is to die for Together with Greece and Italy probably my favourite country i have visited It just speaks to my soul
